“Lovely property near Yala”
The property is a beautiful classic building that has been well maintained. The owners are a lovely couple who take great care of the guests. The food is exceptional and we even got invited to join the host family for New Years celebration and food, which was very touching. The hosts organised our Yala Safari and it was very straightforward.

Staff were amazing and friendly and treated us like family. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were exceptional… great flavours and price you pay to stay at the residence to get what you do is very generous.

“Beautiful hidden gem!”

Beautiful resort, luxury spotles room, very nice and friendly staff members. We get a spice garden tour for free, where we learn a lot of new. Perfect safari arangment for good price and great packed breakfast. We were sorry to stay just one night here.

“Lovely, conveniently located, quaint location with friendly staff”
Conveniently close to block 1 in yala national Park, the most popular block. Very quiet scenic location. A generous dinner was provided with exceptional service by staff who were all friendly. Very spacious room with air-conditioning. The owner took me for a little tour around the gardens to look at the cinnamon plantations etc which was a lovely addition. Very accommodating during my stay.

“Wish we stayed longer!”
We were only here for one night but it was really amazing. Indira and everyone that works here are super helpful and welcoming. It was great to see all the spices grown, as well as having a walk around and watching the sunset over the paddy fields. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Wish we could have stayed longer!

What a wonderful time we had here. From the welcome to the farewell. The food was fantastic, the accommodation perfect and so peaceful. Cannot recommend this enough. Really wanted to stay longer.

“Great place to relax”
Lovely, peaceful location. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy with own balcony. Property has its own paddy field and spice garden. Food was very good.

“Lovely friendly guest house in a beautiful location”
Beautiful location on a cinnamon estate and we were given a tour by the manager who was very informative and provided an insight into Sri Lanka. They organised the safari and recommended visiting the temple with their Tuk Tuk

10/10- what a beautiful stay we had, definitely the highlight of our trip. The staff here went above and beyond to make us feel settled and welcome. The food was truly incredible- we ate like kings and we were even more impressed when we found out that most of the ingredients are grown on site! Raj gave us a tour of the gardens, showing us how each of the herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables were grown and prepared. This was a lovely touch! We also had the best safari we could have hoped for organised by the hosts. Thank you!

“Great place for a safari and to learn about life in Sri Lanka with a fantastic host”
Amazing location out in the countryside - listening to the evening wildlife as the sun goes down and eating our dinner outside. Our host, Raj, showed us how cinnamon was grown and harvested along with all their other fruit snd veg. He also gave us a real insight in to all areas of the tea industry from his many years experience working on the plantations and he also arranged a tuktuk to take us to our bus to Ella. Nearly forgot the safari…lovely packed lunch and got to see a leopard!

We stay for 1 night when visiting Yala National Park. This was the perfect setting with stunning views. Dinner was amazing - freshly cooked Sri Lankan curry. We also used the swimming pool at the hotel next door which was very reasonable and open for guests.
