It is in such a beautiful setting amongst olive groves, vineyards and right next to the ocean, with amazing views. The swimming pool, gardens and house (comfy beds) are lovely. Anna our host was really lovely too.

If you're considering this property, then you will have read most of this in other reviews already. I only write reviews if I'm very impressed or dissapointed, but in this case, I was very impressed. Being half Greek and having spent many holidays with relatives and in apartments and villas in Greece, I can in all honesty recommend Villa Feia. It's the real Greece with less tourists in the surrounding areas and more of a proper Greek feel. A charming traditional Greek villa with lots of marble flooring which feels more like a home than a holiday rental. The location is just perfect if you appreciate the tranquility of the countryside. All you hear is the sea and chirping Cicadas in the Olive trees. The large gardens are beautiful with plenty of shady seating areas and fantastic views accross the medeteranian to Zakynthos. There's a short winding path from the gardens that will take you down to the sea for some great snorkelling and swimming. There are some lovely beaches and taverna's a short drive away, with the Mercouri wine estate next door! The pool is a good size and spends most of the day in the sun, so it's always nice and warm. Anna (the owner) is just lovely, and always available if required, but not intrusive. She has prepared a folder with any information you may need during your stay, which was very handy. I very rarely book holidays in the same place twice, but I will seriously consider another holiday here.
