Overview
Completely renovated in 2019, the beachfront Hotel Poseidon Beach offers spacious accommodation and a swimming pool surrounded by flowers and trees. The Ionian Sea is 10 metres away. The accommodations of Poseidon Beach have a large terrace and come with air conditioning and a refrigerator. There is free Wi-Fi in public areas. Guests can enjoy a Mediterranean dish in the restaurant or have a cocktail at the pool bar. Hotel Poseidon Beach is situated 18 km from the centre of the city of Preveza and 30 km from Lefkada. The good physical and mental condition of our guests is very important to us. There are many “wellness corners” scattered around the hotel garden for yoga, exercise or meditation. Beach: The neighboring beaches are rocky, but the hotel's private beach is amazing. With clean water, sand and no fish or other marine life. Ambience: The hotel is like a small resort with lots of greenery. The pools are cleaned regularly. Hygiene: The hygiene is at a high level, everything is white and clean. Functionality: The air conditioners and refrigerators work flawlessly. Food: The food in the restaurant is delicious and fresh. Every day you get homemade hot bread.

“Old but Gold. Simply and cosy please to chill by the sea.”
I enjoyed a truly relaxing vacation by the sea, away from noise, traffic, and distractions. It was the perfect peaceful escape. The staff at the reception in the mornings were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the waiters, including some delightful sisters, were always warm and accommodating. The rooms had a charming, old-style decor, but they were spotless and well-maintained. The housekeepers diligently cleaned and prepared our room every day, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. It was a wonderful experience of tranquility and friendly service.

We stayed just one night at Poseidon Beach Hotel on our way to Kefalonia. The hotel is right on the beach with its own private area, and our room had a beautiful sea view from the balcony. There’s plenty of on-site parking, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the staff were very friendly and helpful—they even prepared breakfast packs for us as we had an early departure. The hotel has big facilities, a lovely large swimming pool, and a convenient on-site restaurant.

“A nice old fashioned hotel with some limitations”
Room, air conditioning and bathroom were basic but OK. Breakfast was also correct. There is a clean and quiet pool with many sun-beds. On the beach there are also a lot of free sun-beds.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect and the staff were incredibly friendly.The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area, making it perfect for relaxation. I recommend traveling by car or renting one, as there are many secluded beach with crystal-clear water within a half-hour's drive.

Unfortunately, the photos do not correspond to the reality. We booked a triple room which could not fit three people. We didn't have hot water in the bathroom and the water pressure dropped when the people next door was using it. The shower was broken as well as the faucet was leaking and filling the bathroom with water. The towels also had a moldy smell because they had not dried well. The breakfast was like we had given leftovers from the previous days which were not even hot. Overall it was a very bad experience, and we canceled our stay. Unfortunately, it does not correspond to a 4-star hotel.
