“A beautiful, tranquil Greek villa”

The property was perfect. Very comfortable and loads of space for the 7 of us. It was an incredibly hot week so the individual AC units in each bedroom and the living room were very appreciated. The property was very clean and well maintained. We lived in the pool and that was serviced and cleaned regularly. Nadia, the host, was absolutely delightful. On our arrival she had prepared a welcome platter of food with fresh sandwiches, fruit and other gourmet produce. It was very appreciated. There was also washing powder, cleaning products etc readily available in the house. One afternoon she dropped us in boxes of delicious fresh Greek pastries that were such a treat! What a lovely, generous host! We loved hearing the neighbours goats with their bells around their necks in the mornings and evenings.

Extremely comfortable and luxurious property with Wi-Fi extended upstairs and downstairs. A private pool which we used only a few times due to the April weather where the views from the outside are breathtaking. The jacuzzi was great and the 4 bedrooms were spacious. 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom are in the basement (with windows), keeping it cool, but the air conditioning was able to circulate heat for the colder nights. It would have been great to have some shelving for shampoo bottles, etc, near the bath itself. The shower hose is attached to the massive bath but not secured to the wall so a lack of shelving leads to soaking the floor which isn’t a big deal, as there are many towels to use to mop it up. There is also a utility room in the basement with a clothes horse, iron, and ironing board an extra fridge, hoover, dustpan and brush. There is also space there for luggage. The washing machine in the basement is adequate, but basic and programmes are timely; The washing line is outside and there is no tumble dryer - you can’t leave wet clothes out at night as dust will be deposited from the wind - there are launderettes in The Old Town. Two shower rooms with toilets are on the ground and top floors. The top-floor shower only had light emitted from behind the mirror - it was much darker than the other showers. The upper level also has an outside balcony with comfortable seating and splendid views. There are many dining areas and a small BBQ, to allow you to capture the traversing sun. There is a water hose at the front entrance, to clean the sand coming from the sea or your car, and an outdoor shower at the back of the property for use before/ after being in the pool. Adequate front parking for at least two large cars. The warm-hearted, kind, and professional Nadia, who also understands and speaks English, was a welcome complement to the excellent accommodation.
