“Great stay in Kastraki”

Nice place, well located, well decorated.

The location is amazing, it is quiet and walking distance to a beautiful beach. The apartment had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We loved our stay and highly recommend it. We'll definitely stay here again when coming back to Naxos.

“Beautiful villa, Fantastic location.”

We loved it here! A family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids both in their early twenties) we all found it quiet and relaxing. It's located just a few minutes easy walk to a glorious, long sandy beach with beautiful clear blue water. There were only a handful of people on the beach whenever we were there as this is not a tourist hotspot (yet?!). There is a good taverna within easy walking distance and a couple more a bit further away. There is a handy supermarket and a bakery a short drive away. Whilst the owners live next door we did not see or hear them at all (except when they met us with the key) and the apartments are angled away from each other so that you feel quite private. There are 2 terraces that we enjoyed sitting out on in the evenings where you can hear the waves from the sea which was lovely. The villa faces west towards the sea so we saw some lovely sunsets and there was almost always a welcome breeze. It was therefore very nice sometimes sleeping with the windows open and listening to the lapping waves. The windows all have insect mesh but we didn't experience any insects at all even though we sat out each night. There is air con in each bedroom and in the living space which was most welcome as it was still very hot whilst we were there. When we arrived there was a thoughtful welcome basket of goodies including a bottle of local wine and water in the fridge. The toiletries provided are lovely too and there are slippers, toothbrush kits, shaving kits etc and other bits and pieces that made it feel very 'boutique'. If you want to see any of the surrounding island you will need a car. It's definitely worth taking a few trips to explore this lovely, baren landscape with it's little coves and ancient monuments. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

“It was really good”

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Tranquillita. The host was very nice and welcoming. She had prepared everything we needed for breakfast and has been always available for any request. The place is very conveniently located among other villas next to the sea, the village is very quite, with a well furnished supermarket 5 minutes away, a great bakery nearby too. The house was very big, with all the amenities a family may need, from a modern kitchen to laundry and two bathrooms. Totally recommended for relaxing holidays.

We stayed in the villa with our children. We spent wonderful 10 days there. We felt like at home, in the villa we found everything that made our stay comfortable and we really enjoyed the terrace. They cleaned the villa every other day. From the villa you can walk to the beach in 3 minutes. We would definitely recommend spending a holiday in this place.

“Gorgeous villa in the heart of Naxos right on the beach - had a fantastic, stunning stay!”

Gorgeous house, excellent location, stunning views and only a short two minute walk to the beach! The owners were very friendly and hospitable, leaving a bottle of wine for us to enjoy as well as a selection of tea, coffee, watermelon and other snacks. The house was very clean and tidy, with the cleaner coming in to change the sheets and towels half way through our stay. We also left a few clothes behind by mistake, and the owner immediately offered to post them - all in all, it was an excellent stay!

“All we needed for a quiet relaxing holiday, and far more than we had expected”

This is a remarkable property: lots of space; fully equipped kitchen (well, it had all that we needed); large kitchen/dining table; large west facing balcony with a big table, chairs, recliner chairs and a hammock, and a view of the sea towards Paros (there are a couple of properties between it and the sea); small front courtyard with a handful of pretty plants. Bathrooms spacious and immaculately clean: looking at the photos we had wondered about the strange (for us) design of the showers -- but they work really well. Comfortable beds. Lots of storage space. Above all it is quiet and peaceful. Windows and doors have mosquito/fly screens -- we weren't particularly plagued but there were a few beasties. It is obvious that the owner takes pride in her property. She kindly provides a basket of essentials on arrival, enough for a breakfast or two. Little extra things: two beach umbrellas; bamboo house slippers. We stayed six days, and we had a cleaning service and change of towels half way through. There are a handful of very good restaurants nearby (one in walking distance), and a couple of supermarkets within a few minutes drive. We noted in other reviews concerns about building works. Kastraki is a resort of independent villas in development. There are a lot of unfinished properties in the area. One such is virtually next door to Villa Tranquillita, and its owner occasionally turned up to play with power tools. We got the impression that he has a day job, and in reality the disturbance was minimal. The owner is friendly and very helpful. She calmed our nerves brilliantly when we had an unscheduled, and then a (surprise) scheduled power cut.

The place is amazing, very close to the beach. Irene, the host, is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very well equiped and if you need something particular, Irene will definetely help you out. You have plenty space to hide from the sun on the terrace during the day.

Very nice apartment, spacious, developed on two floors with a nice terrace on the second floor and a nice veranda very useful for having meals or simply for a relaxing pause. The equipment is ok for cooking meals, not only for have a breakfast. We find the presence of a laundry machine very useful. The location is quite isolated and peaceful even if in the surroundings they’re building up new structures and villas. In order to reach the place is definitely better to have or rent a car. Kastraki beach is anyway 5 minute walking distance from the structure. At our arrival, we’ve found some products for breakfast kindly offered by our host. Definitely a nice experience!

Beautiful house in a great location with a 3min walk to the beach. The house is super well equipped and there were so many nice welcome gifts which we didn’t expected (even some slippers :))The house is new, modern and super clean. We stayed there with 5 people and had a great time! The host was around and very helpful whenever we needed something. We would definitely come back!

Amazing villa and tranquilita as mentioned. Quite and you feel like home! clean, all the amenities and private parking. sleeping with the windows open is a must as the area is quite!
