“Amazing from start to finish.”

Location was perfect in the middle of an Olive Grove, gated, quiet and secluded, but walkable distance to all amenities to include bakery and supermarket. We did hire a car, but not really necessary as you can also get a bus to the larger town of Split and Trogir. A 30 minute walk takes you to the small towns of Kastella(there are 7 castles, all joined by a walkable promenade where you can go for a swim or sunbathe on the beaches,and lots of reasonably priced restaurants with god local food.) Property has fantastic views across the bay. Met on arrival by Ivan and his Mom who had prepared a meal. They really are fantastic hosts, helpful and thoughtful. Property has spotlessly clean pool, fabulous outdoor eating area to include BBQ, fridge, icemaking machine, table tennis table and table football. Ground floor has sauna, mini gym and shower room together with a self contained bedroom unit. Walk upstairs to first floor with lounge/dining/kitchen area, bedroom and house bathroom. Then further bedroom with toilet .Another partially covered area gives further fantastic views .Use of washing machine in separate utility .Attention to detail is AMAZING.(bath robes, toiletries, pool towels, washing tabs. dishwasher tabs, soap) Everything is catered for. All sunbeds are comfortable, beds/bedding/linen all high quality. A massive thankyou to Ivan, his Mom and family for a fabulous holiday.

We cannot recommend Villa Oliva highly enough - it was the perfect base from which to explore the region and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We were treated to a delicious meal on arrival and extra treats such a fresh tomatoes and a homemade dessert during the week. Set in an olive grove, the villa was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The pool and garden were superb and we enjoyed making use of the sun loungers in the shade. The views from the balcony were stunning, particularly during the evening as the sun set over the bay. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality- we hope to return!

Such a lovely, peaceful place. Everything is well arranged and equipped and the host is super friendly. He welcomed us with a delicious barbecue and home made olive oil from the trees surrounding this woundful place. The nearby beaches are unique and not crowded at all, different to the ones in Split center. And the the drive to Split is easy going due to the the nearby freeway. Both indoor and outdoor kitchen do not miss anything. Enough shadow is all around the place at the pool or in the hammocks under the olive trees. The large table outside with a barbecue place next to it (easily fitting 8 people) is perfekt for long dinner& wine evenings with the view over the pool and into the olive orchard. The background lighting making it especially cozy and romantic. A perfect place for a bigger group or large family to escape the stress of daily life and just relax.

A great location which was close to the airport but also in a beautiful setting. Ivan was a great host who made us feel like we were on holiday straight away - the surprise lunch and dessert were a real highlight of the holiday!
