The host was so friendly and welcoming and really made my short holiday at Nara really nice. It was very memorable and because the host was so welcoming even though I couldn’t speak much Japanese he helped me a lot and helped me connect with other Japanese people. He also showed me where everywhere was at the guesthouse and this also made me feel comfortable and also provided all the facilities I needed.

“Family athmosphere in a quiet area”
I spent one night in the dormitory as a solo traveller. Asato-san is really attentive and will have the best tips for your stay. The guesthouse is very clean with a very family athmosphere and some house rules to make sure the co-living works. The kitchen is well-equipped and you can rent bikes for YEN 500/day which I recommend to visit the area on a sunny day. I would definitely go back. Thank you!

Really nice and helpful owner speaking fluent English. He provide me a lot information for my trip! The house is also lovely with traditional decorations. Feel safe and warm like staying with friends. Definitely will come back next time.

The staff are very welcoming, and it was great to stay in a guesthouse where I was the only Western guest (at the time), which enabled me to have conversations with Japanese families. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. It was a nice place to stay.
