Mr. Sato is an excellent person. I am a pescatarian and when Mr. Sato knew this, he tried everything to make me a delicious dinner. On the day we checked out, he even took my family to train station. What a warm stay.❤️

Friendly pension a short walk from the centre of the village. The staff were very friendly and worked hard despite the language barrier.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very quaint and cute. Rooms are a bit small for 2 people. Location is only a short walk to the main town. Meals were buffet style - simple and basic.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and took our bags for us before check in. The free amenities such as tea, chopsticks, appliance access, etc. are adequate. The room was clean and warm.

It’s very old and not too hygienic. Beds and toilets are horrible. Pillows are horrible as well.

Breakfast is optional and I didn't opt for it but I saw the traditional Japanese spread that looks really appetising. Self helping beverages station are available everywhere which I thought is really thoughtful. The shared bathroom is suprisingly clean and nice. The staffs will always try their best to help with requests

The location was superb . The immediate surrounds where green beautiful and quiet. But just around the corner was the main street with lots of food and shopping. We hired bikes and rode everywhere. The staff where amazing looking after our every need. driving us to local places and giving us tips to make the most out of our holiday.

Without luggage, the location is within 10-15 minutes' walk. The staff were nice and polite. The rooms were generally clean.

Good service from clerk,willing to help and provide pick up service which helps a lot. Pillow is hard but when request softer pillow , also provide.

Great hotel in a convenient location near Karuizawa. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Breakfast was nice Japanese style and delicious. The hotel offers all facilities and lots of amenities. We booked last minute and I highly recommend!
