Volcan Secret Cave accomodation was fantastic. A beautiful setting and plenty of space for our family of four. The bathroom was superb and the beds were very comfortable. Very friendly and lovely hosts. The whole place was really well designed and exceptionally clean. Our kids loved the hot tub!

It’s so beautiful, private with jacuzzi, nice location to move around the island and the Host Maria is the best . She gives extra service and available all the time. She will check up on you everyday asking if you are fine or you need something. Any help you need about Santorini she is always there. I’m happy and will definitely come back.

Maria was always kind and helpful! The location is in the middle of the island, so it's a very good starting point for every kind of activity. In the area there are also restaurants, supermarkets and everything you can ask for!

“Beautiful accommodation with private pool in central Santorini”

The accommodation is located in Karterados, which is a village in the center of Santorini, so a great starting point to explore the island. The village has everything you need: restaurants (try Katerina's), bars, bakeries (try Erotokritos or Zotos), supermarkets/mini markets, access to public buses, car rental agencies, etc but it's just a short distance to Fira, you can walk there in approx. 20 minutes or take the bus (approx. 5 minutes). Volcan Secret Cave is located off the main road of the village but nestled in a quiet walkway, so it's generally pretty quiet. FYI: To get to the accommodation, you need to walk several steps down and there are several steps in the apartment. There are several churches nearby, on Sundays and public holidays you will hear the bells, but usually not before 12 pm. Our host Maria was very attentive and provided lots of helpful information. Communication with her was very easy and pleasant and she was super helpful when it came to arranging transportation etc. The apartment itself is a dream! It has two separate, cave-like bedrooms which are beautifully furnished and equipped with air conditioning, storage facilities and a comfortable bed each. In the upper room there is a safe and first aid kit. The living room has a Smart TV which allows you to watch streaming services or live TV on a built-in sofa. The main room also has a kitchenette which is equipped with all kitchen essentials such as cutlery, glasses, plates, pans etc., which allow you to prepare meals. The dining table seats four guests. The bathroom is spacious and essentials such as shampoo and body lotion, hair dryer are provided. The apartment has a terrace equipped with a wooden table with four chairs, parasol, a rack to dry clothes and our personal highlight: a heated whirlpool. Amazing! We enjoyed our stay very much, would choose Volcan Secret Caves again and can wholeheartedly recommend staying there and having Maria as your host.

Maria, the host, was fantastic, all you could hope for. She helped with anything & everything and was always checking in to make sure everything was OK. Property was lovely, and to our pleasant surprise was cleaned daily, by a lovely lady. Very quiet village, just a 20 minute walk into Thira. We had a great stay.

We really enjoyed the warm welcome from Maria. The flat was very comfortable and well decorated. The Jacuzzi was a great relaxing spot! From A to Z, Maria was very attentive to all of our needs. We really felt at home. We were also welcomed with a fine bottle of wine!

It was one of the best accommodation in the Santorini. the house was perfect for families with 2 kids especially the design and nice jacuzzi . close to some local supermarkets and nice restaurants. very nice and peaceful. our host Maria she was one of the best. she organised birthday yummy cake and nice decorations for my wife birthday surprise and guided us for Santorini top spot to visit.

This apartment is beautiful. It was a last minute book for myself and my partner. The facilities were clean and there’s everything you need as a self catered property. Maria is extremely helpful and on hand for anything you need. There’s a travel Guide provided which gives you all the info for beaches and boat trips etc. we booked an 11 hour boat trip which was reasonably priced and a great day out. The rooms were comfy , the jacuzzi is amazing and the area is extremely quiet and peaceful compared to nearby Fira. There’s a huge supermarket nearby for all your shopping , plenty of restaurants and bars, Fira is a 20 min walk away and the bus stop is a 6 min walk up A hill and the buses take you all over the island . Maria was so helpful anything we needed. The cleaners come round every day. We are definitely staying here again on our next visit !
