Overview
Situated 100 metres from Bomstadbaden Beach by Lake Vänern, this resort offers cottages with a private terrace and a kitchenette. Karlstad city centre is 10 km away. All cottages feature a seating area with a flat-screen TV. Kitchen facilities include cooking hobs, a fridge and a coffee maker. Shared bathroom facilities and WiFi are available in the service houses for free. Some cottages have a private bathroom with shower. Guests can enjoy a game at the mini golf and disc golf course, or relax in the sauna and hot tub. Kayaks, pedalos and bicycles can be rented on site. Several playgrounds and an adventure park for children are available at the property. Traditional Swedish dishes are served for lunch and dinner at Karlstad Swecamp’s restaurant from May through August. Meals can be enjoyed on the terrace in nice weather. Barbecue facilities are also available on site. Free parking is available on site. Bergvik Shopping Centre is a 5-minute drive away.

Great Location, great view of the lake, lots of trees to provide shade. The pizzeria at the camping ground is great value. It's close to a huge supermarket that has anything you could need. Well equipped kitchen in the bungalow. Big terrace which is partially covered with a roof. Very friendly staff.

It was clean, very comfortable and warm when we arrived. It is one of the most beautiful and serene campsites I have ever visited. The birdsong concert in the morning was really lovely 🐦 amazing forest with easily accessible walking paths.

The cabin was absolutely perfectly clean. We were not expecting it to be so fancy. Myself, hubby and the kids really enjoyed our short getaway. I recommend eating at Julins Texas BBQ Junkyard restaurant just 11min away. We hope to return to the cabin with friends when the snow has melted. The cabin is very well stocked with all utensils and all you need. Just remember to bring sheets and duvet covers and towels.

“Fabulous”
Beautiful view of the lake. Cozy cabin, good furniture, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a long or short stay. Good heating system.

“Unforgettable sunrise, wonderful chirstmas, relaxing stay”
The best part of our stay was watching the sunrise—it was absolutely breathtaking. The beach is very large and beautiful, making the experience even more special. The accommodation was very clean and well maintained, with a private kitchen that had almost everything we needed. Even though it was a holiday period, the communication was excellent. All messages and instructions for check-in, check-out, and general information were clear and easy to follow. We had a wonderful Christmas stay here and truly enjoyed our time. We will definitely come back again, especially in the summer.

Very spacious with two bedrooms and a sofa bed. Large and comfortable. The place is new and spotless clean. Parking right outside. Quiet. Have every and enough equipments and facilities. Pleasant and helpful staff. Electric car charging right by. Close to the beach. Heat pump.
