A perfect homebase for working in the area around Karlstad. The hotel itself is cozy with friendly staff and a bar, the area is not very lively but has the essentials (store and restaurant), the rooms were clean and looked recently renovated. Parking is plentiful and cheap, and driving to worksites is very quick as this is directly next to the large roads. Karlstad itself is a 30 minute walk away, and there are buses traveling that way too.

“Great place for a stay in Karlstad”
We liked the helpful staff at the reception desk as well as the staff at the kitchen. We got plenty of information about bicycle tours around Karlstad and flyers and maps we could use for our tour. The breakfast was enough and staff always paid attention that we get served everything. The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean. We could park our car and bicycles for free in front of the room. The parking lot is a big plus. We hope to return there again.

“Good for a stopover”
Very helpful and kind staff despite being few. Good simple hotel suitable for a stopover. The room is good and has what you need for a night or two. The location is convenient but nothing much to see around the hotel. Free parking.

The s staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, lovely and warm. The lady on reception was extremely helpful and pleasant.
