Location is the best part right next to Train station, and tram stops immediately in front of the building entrance. The backside of the hotel has rooms with windows facing Platform 1. Never heard any noise of trains though.

Professional, duper friendly and helpful staff. Great disabled access facilities. Good size rooms, comfortable beds. Several bars and restaurants on the doorstep too. Pet friendly €10 per dog. Assistance dogs free. Would definitely book again. Staff managed to get us in adjoining rooms.

“Great value, friendly staff, central location”
Breakfast was great, for adults and for kids. The kids enjoyed making their own waffles with the waffle iron. The heating worked well. There was no noticeable noise from outside when then windows were closed; and when the windows were open, the noise was minimal because there was little traffic and only a streetcar (no trains) passed by once in a while. The room was good size for us three people. We were able to walk to downtown, to the museum ZKM and to the Europahalle stadium all within 30 min. Nice, wide parking spaces were available in a courtyard behind the hotel.

“Great.”
I want to give the highest points to the wonderful check-in employee who worked that evening. He was very service-oriented, polite and quick. He was also cheerful and nice, edspite being so late at night. I had a problem with the staff at the check-in at this hotell two years ago, but this time the young man beat all expectations. Everything was fine. The room faced the street with trams but the window noise insulation was good enough to make it barely hearable.

When I made the payment, I paid the city tax in full, but when I left the hotel, I was asked to pay the city tax again. It is not a big amount, but this should have been stated when booking.

“Was not able to sleep.”
Room temperature too hot for me to sleep. Opening windows is not a solution because its too noisy.
