Hotel Korana Srakovcic is beautifully situated on the riverbank of Korana River in a peaceful area of Karlovac, a 30-minute drive from Zagreb. The summer terrace with dance music and the sound of the Korana waterfall is a place not to be missed. Just over an hour’s drive from Plitvice Lake, it serves as an ideal base for hunting excursions, fishing, cycling tours. Trips to ceramic stores, an old castle and other places can be organised by the Korana Srakovcic.

The breakfast was very good, and the dinner as well. Surroundings beautiful; the whole area is amazing with rivers and nature. Excellent position - close to the city centre and walking paths along the river. I do suggest visit to the Aquarium , it is a short walk away.

“WLU tour of Europe.”
As a party of 7 motorcyclist, we arrived soaked to the skin. The member of staff at reception could not have been more helpful, she even had us laughing. Within minutes of us going to our room, another member of staff dried the reception floor. Our meal that night was suggested by the waiter and it was exceptionally tasty. Over all the staff could not have been more helpful and are a credit to the hotel and Croatia.

Great quiet beautiful location on the river with nice walks to do and easy and reasonable parking. Nice large if a little dark room. Nice breakfast buffet and surprisingly good dinner - the duck was great.

“Pleasant stay”
This is a pleasant family-run hotel located next to a park and a riverside leisure area: very convenient if traveling with a dog. Parking is free and is in the area in front of the hotel. My room was spacious. I had a good dinner in the restaurant. I’ve stayed here before and will continue to do so when I have an overnight stopover in the area.

The hotel is in a quiet park next to the river, so very quiet from the outside. Within walking distance to the centre of Karlovac.

“Not the most modern, but probably still the prettiest and best hotel in Karlovac, with a great location and comfortable”
This was the second time we’ve stayed here. It is in a great location, close to the city centre, but directly adjacent the river and parklands, which makes it feel like you are out in the country-side. Grand old building, with a beautiful verandah overlooking the river, on which you can have a meal or drinks. Very nice Buffet breakfast available.m
