We had a wonderful time at Plaka Studios in Chios. The room is right next to the sea, and the view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed, and thanks to the refreshing sea breeze, the room stayed cool without needing the air conditioning (though it was available if needed). The hostess was incredibly kind and helpful — a true example of Greek hospitality. Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful and scenic place to stay in Chios.

“AMAZING VIEW AND LOCATION”
The location and view are amazing. It takes 5-7 minutes to the center. Villages are also not far from there. I recommend renting a car for sure. You have no problem with parking. Lidl is also close if you want to do grocery shopping. The owner is such a nice and kind person. The staff is nice and smiley in general.

“Comfortable with the baby”
We stayed for 4 days with our baby. The view is amazing, right by the sea. You wake up to the sea in the morning. You can’t swim directly in front of the place, but a bit further (a 5-10 minute walk) is the sandy beach of Karfas. The center is 6-7 minutes by car. Effie is very attentive and sweet. It was very clean. The kitchen is sufficient, so anyone who wants can cook. We always had breakfast at home. We were very comfortable with the baby. There was nothing we didn’t like. If we come again, we would definitely stay here. Thank you, Effie :)

People are very friendly and helpful. It is in very peaceful neighbourhood and very close to beach. Rooms were cleaned everyday.

“Old but clean hotel close to center”
We stayed for 6 nights. The location is 5 km from the city center, which is very convenient if you have a car. The hotel owners are very helpful; they assisted us with many things. The room was cleaned every day.

The location, the room, the host...everything is amazing about plaka studios. It was like a summer house to me. The owner Effie and her family theay are all amazing. I travelled with my dog, we had the the time of our life. Very comfortable, we had everything we needed. I strongly recommend here.

The owners are so polite and friendly. From the first day they made us feel like we were at home. The hotel is very close to Karfas Beach and 10 minutes with car to the Chios Center. You can always find parking place in front of the hotel. The sea view is amazing. Overall we love the hotel🤗

“Breath taking! Never had such an amazing location near the sea!”
Where to start?! The room/apartment was great, the view unbelievable and the host and amazing loving person! Everything was there, enough sockets, clean towels quite often, the tidiness of the room was also really spot on. But something which blew our mind was the view, never had such an amazing view, and then also you even had your own pool, the natural pool of the sea! There was a stairs, and Effie realized a nice shower, so when the sea was calm you could enjoy relaxation in your own private sea :D

Chios is a fantastic island and Plaka Studios is the best accommodation to explore it. It has an amazing sea view and stone staircase to dive directly into the sea straight from your patio. Effie and her parents are very welcoming, providing valuable information about the island, beaches, taverns, food. Effie even texted us to check if we've back home safely knowing that we'll travel by ferryboat and by car - it was an extremely nice gesture. Thank you all for everything, hope to see you again soon.
