Outstanding location , a former border post between Finland and Sweden. Very new facilities, well looked after. We had the entire house for ourselves, a pleasure to stay.

Very modern, well equipped and immaculately clean accommodation. It was very easy to collect the key from the petrol station and pay for the room there. We had all the shared facilities (kitchen, lounge, laundry, sauna) to ourselves, as the other two rooms were unoccupied for the night.

The host was very helpful and easy to reach when we weren't sure how to get the keys (I had misread the instructions). We felt very welcome and the appartment was super clean and comfy, like a modern home. The convenience store / gas station is relatively close and serves surprisingly good home-like food! You can also buy a lot of souvenirs there. We chose this location because there is very little public transport between Finland and Sweden at this latitude, and that allowed us to reach Sweden on foot after visiting Finland, and take the bus there towards Kiruna. Also, the idea of spending the night in an old custom post and crossing the border on foot is quite fun and unique!

Everything has been thought of in the facility. There is everything you may need in the common areas. The cleanliness of the facility is amazing. We stayed with my wife and there was no one else in the facility except us. The location is very comfortable, right on the border. You can get the keys from the cafe on the road.
