Situated along Route 62, the historical Assegaaibosch Country Lodge has a backdrop of the Kouga Mountain range and is located in Kareedouw. It features a restaurant, bar and outdoor swimming pool. Out of town, but still close to a local restaurant for dinner. The rural setting provides fresh air and a beautiful scenery. A sumptuous breakfast. The management made special arrangements for me, which I truly appreciate.

The dinner buffet was not nice. Poor choice and bad quality for vegetables and desserts. There was a lot of noise in the night and could not sleep.

“A piece of heaven in the mountains”
Amazing views and tranquil setting in the mountains! Great space for morning walks followed by a lovely breakfast ! Dinner was delicious and hearty!
