Padu Hotell is a family-owned establishment located in the garden city Kärdla. It offers accommodation with a satellite TV, a private balcony and free Wi-Fi. Free private parking is included. The rooms and apartments at the Padu all feature a rustic interior design with wooden panelling and wooden furniture. All rooms have mosquito nets. The café-bar serves breakfast in the mornings. There also is an Estonian sauna on-site that is heated with firewood. Locatesd in a quiet area, the Padu is 200 metres from the Padu shuttle bus station. The Baltic Sea is within a 5 minute drive away.

Everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they assisted us with all the questions we had. The location was excellent — quiet and peaceful, with a shopping center nearby. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Of course, there is no luxury, but that was exactly what we expected.

“Family vacation”
Everything was available in abundance - sheets, towels etc. Breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious and the hospitality was nice. Overall we had a great time.

“Very nice place to stay and from where to explore Hiiumaa”
I enjoyed staying here quite a lot. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. The property is located next to a main access road to the town, 20 minutes on foot from the main bus station. The room was simply furnished, but comfortable and spacious with a nice small balcony. There was a large table and even a small fridge inside the room. The property overall is nicely decorated with some common areas for hanging out. I also rented a bike from the them one of the days and the whole process was very smooth.

“Full of character and very comfortable.”
This place had tons of character. It is a beautiful wooden lodge with hunting trophies all over the place but is full of light and very comfortable. It had a great shower. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and they offered a set evening meal which was very reasonable. It's close to a big shop for getting supplies and we found a really good bar/restaurant at the pier 5 min cycle away. We really enjoyed our short stay here.

Nice, cozy place with a lot of wood. The room had a balcony, which would have been great fun in warmer weather. Hotel has a few bikes for rent, which were of excellent quality and were maintained immaculately. Location is at the edge of the town, 15 min walk to Keskvaljak but just 3 min walk to the massive Rimi

“Central base of operations on a beautiful island”
The front desk lady was very, very sweet, friendly and helpful. The area is gorgeous, of course. Just walk around the town any time of day. The hotel itself, well, there were beds, and a toilet, and breakfast was all right.

“Rustic and cosy place with very friendly landlords.”
I booked the hotel because of the cosy looking rooms and lobby area. The rustic style was really nice. It was also super clean and the beds were comfortable. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was good.

The location was one of the primary reasons why we picked the hotel: easy to get to, plenty of parking, access to town, harbor, beach, within 10 mins driving. The buffet-style breakfast was plenty, with some potentially Hiiumaa traditional selection.

I liked my stay in Padu hotel, good sleep, hot shower, welcoming helpful owners. Tasty breakfast with choices of local fish, cheese and breads. room was warm. It was winter, a low season and very quiet, in summer it can be quite busy and noisy, I suppose.

Conveniently located on the road to the airport, next to the supermarket and near the centre of the town; comfortable room with balcony and wooden interiors; delicious breakfast; kind and nice owner.

“Great Hosts, great breakfast, good rooms. Will stay again.”
Hotel gave me a homey feeling. It was furnished as a 90s summer home (Soviet times). All wood interior, comfortable beds, balcony, free parking under your balcony etc. You even have CCTV camera feeds from the parking lot on your TV in the room. Hotel is family managed, at least that’s how it looked to me. It was really good. Breakfast was amazing. Better than some I had in big chain hotels. Delicious and plentiful. Breakfast was from 8:00-10:00. Still, on the morning we had to leave for the 8:30 ferry, breakfast was already made at 7:40. And the Host was even worried will we make the ferry and told me to be careful because there is usually police patrols on the road to ferry (there actually was). Still we made the ferry and all was well, but the care and attention for their guests will take me to this hotel again if I ever visit Hiiumaa.
