Great location, in the centre of town. Close to beach, restaurants, shops and taxi rank. Pub below hotel but very quiet at night. Family run hotel and all were very friendly and helpful.

“We truly loved this hotel!”
Vasilis and Stamatia were perfect hosts. They were very friendly and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay. All staff including bar staff and cleaning staff, worked very hard to provide excellent service to all. We were particularly impressed that they had a separate shower room with a hairdryer which we could use after we had checked out and before our short journey to the airport. Stamatia also gave us a gift of traditional Baklava when we were leaving which was kind and thoughtful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others. It was in a perfect location 😀

I have stayed here several times now. Location is perfect for all forms of transport around the island and beyond. Staff are lovely. We will be back.

Breakfast was not included but I could get a hearty breakfast downstairs at the pup. The room was very clean. The balcony spaceous. The kettle and the fridge were working. WLAN was very strong and useful. All in all I liked it there.

“Excellent simple hotel in superb location”
An excellent simple town hotel. I think facilities, such as showers and AC have had a recent update as they were excellent. Could even put loo paper down the loo! The restraint is also known as The Pup. Has Sky sports but whilst we were there kept sound low.

We ate in the pub most nights, the food was great and the value exceptional. The hosts were brilliant all the way through our holiday from the initial greeting, the hospitality, cooking and booking our taxi back to the airport. The family who run the hotel and pub are lovely, we will definitely be going back. Best shower and bathroom we ever had on a Greek island and rooms cleaned and beds changed every day. Kardamena is such a lovely fun and friendly place and the hotel location is perfect as we wanted the beach, harbour, public pool and bars and restaurants on our doorstep.

The Rio Hotel is located few meters from the Bus /taxi stop, in the center of Kardamena. The rooms are spacious, you also have a small but comfy terrace where you can put your swimwear to dry in the sun. Air conditioner is also present so keep your room cool in very warm days. The staff (including the girls at the Pub) were really nice and kind with us, the owner always has a smile in his face. When you check out and maybe need to fly late in the day, if needed they have a room where you can leave your luggages so you can go for a walk or to the beach and come back to take them back and it's also possible to take a shower in another room, very useful! Loved our stay in Kardamena and Rio Hotel!

Lovely hotel, run by a lovely family who can not do enough for you. Fantastic location, clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. With the pub next door for a great breakfast, snacks and meals, or just a drink. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

“Perfect spot”
This is the second time I have stayed here. It is in the perfect spot to make the most of all Kardamena has to offer. Staff are lovely and very helpful.
