I am truly grateful for the time I spent at this hotel. The owner and his mother are wonderful people—exceptionally generous, attentive, and always ready to help. They treat every guest with genuine warmth, offering thoughtful support, useful information, and sincere hospitality. It truly feels as though you are welcomed as a friend, not just a visitor. The hotel is in a beautiful area of Kardamena and even has its own private beach, with some of the clearest and most refreshing water on the island. The atmosphere is calm, private, and relaxing, making it an ideal place to unwind. Guests seem to naturally respect the peaceful environment, which adds to the overall sense of tranquility. Cleanliness and hygiene are maintained to a very high standard, exceeding my expectations. This is the perfect destination for anyone who wants to step away from crowded spots, enjoy a quiet stay, and recharge after a busy period of work or travel. “Peaceful holiday”

I really enjoyed the peaceful environment and thought the host was wonderful! He greeted us in the early hours and was very welcoming. These are some of the things I think are useful to know: The accommodation we had was a lovely large apartment with great views of the sea. It was roomy enough for myself and teenagers. It was well stocked and very clean. This is a small hotel on the beach with crystal clear waters with plenty of sun loungers and trees to shade under. You need to swim out a bit as it is initially a bit rocky but then has golden sand. Very strong WiFi so teens were happy with that. This is a great place if you want to get away from it all and get a proper rest. Kardamena is a short drive away and has a lot of good places to eat and drink and is very lively. .

This place is amazing, I'd recommend to anyone and would love to come back. Nikos is a very kind host and gave us a great list of recommendations for places to eat and drink nearby (all of which were delicious). The room is so spacious and always kept very clean and tidy! There is a private beach right in front of the hotel, no need to cross the road to access it, and you can just sit on any of the loungers choosing to lay in the sun or under the shade of the trees. View from the room is amazing and the little balcony is a perfect place to eat while enjoying the scenery and a sea breeze. Would highly recommend renting a car for easy trip to the local town Kardamena and to explore other places in the island such as the natural thermal springs!

Every minute spent at Olympia Mare was worth it - the location and view are great, not as crowded as other places at Kos. You receive a lot of recommendations for the holidays, staff is always kind and the pictures show totally what you get!

“Just what we needed.”

It's quiet, peacefull and a 20min walk into town. The beach is at the end of the garden. No road between garden and the beach.No umbrellas, just trees that keep you cool. The owner, Nicos, is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It is one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had. Excellent value compared to the more expensive upmarket hotels nearby.

I had a wonderful experience at Olympia Mare! I was working from there remotely and was very happy that everything in reality conforms to the description and better! Unbeatable setup by the sea, very kind and hospitable host. The location is perfect to disconnect from the busy world and detox your system. Already thinking when I should come back.

Our experience was simply outstanding! The location was fantastic, easily accessible by car but far from the tourist buzz, with a beautiful beach and crystal-clear waters. The rooms were super nice and exceptionally clean. Nikos was a great host and ensured our stay was wonderful. Without a doubt, we will return and can highly recommend it.

The location is perfect, with the sea a few steps from the apartment. It is quiet and private, with Kardemena very close by for restaurants, supplies and entertainment. The property is immaculate.

Even in the week when November began it was very sunny and warm in Kos, so I got real good, excellent value for money, especially in his hotel. If you have a car with you (you shouldn't book this hotel for long time if you don't), you can reach many beautiful places on the island and also the airport within 20 Minutes. Beds were very comfortable. Wonderful beach view. Espresso machine was also a very useful device. The owner was very helpful in finding an important thing I had mislaid.

Really an extraordinary stay! Value for money in late October is excellent. That may be true for many hotels in that very late season on sunny Kos, but especially for this hotel it's even even more true than for others! Beach view is great. Swimming is possible directly at the beach at the hotel or, if you prefer longer and sandier beaches, when you walk along the beach a few hundert meters in western direction (where endlesss walks on sandy beaches are possible). Beds are very comfortable.

The space of the studio, the location and the tranquil area but also the daily cleaning, lovely towels and the other little details that came came with the room.

“A real gem in Kos”

It was a special place to celebrate my birthday. Nikos and his family gave me the most warm welcome I could have. Friendly, profissional and helpful, Nikos gave me all important information regarding the island. I had a spotless room with sea view. Everything was perfect. Crisp linen and towels ( included beach towel), shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, ecological toothbrush and toothpaste! The beach is “private”, I would say, just 1 minute walking from my bed. And there are trees as umbrela! The only noises I could hear were the sound of waves and cicadas. Total peaceful and sunny place where is possible to watch a stunning sunrise. It’s is a real gem in Kos. Totally in love and already missing that place. I higly recommend and I say Thanks a bunch to Nikos and family for everything. I will be back!
