Our stay here was amazing. I'd highly recommend Nissea to anyone. The location is fantastic with its own private beach/terrace. It's in the heart of Kardamena, just a short stroll down to the main square. The room was really lovely and the view from the balconies was amazing. Breakfast was really good with a decent variety of dishes to choose from. The cocktails were excellent. What makes this place even more special is the staff. Marinos, Dimitri, Denise, Panos and the rest of the team were absolutely fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return.

“Truly wonderful”

My husband and I went to Nissea for our 5th wedding anniversary (first holiday together without our 1 year old) and it was the most wonderful, relaxing and perfect week away. Big thank you to Marinos and Nikko for their hospitality and making us feel very welcome from the very moment we arrived, they knew us by name. It was a uniquely personal experience. The location is excellent, and the food at the hotel breakfast and lunch is so delicious better than all of the restaurants nearby. There is a very high standard of excellence at this hotel and this is evident in everything they do from the hotel decor, the food and the hospitality. I hoped it would be good but it was even better than I expected. Our room was on the ground floor, it was so nice to have our own deckchairs on the terrace. Mocktails were really good too. Everything was truly wonderful I really wish we were still there. There are lots of restaurants and shops near by walking distance away. We didn’t leave Kardamena and we didn’t need to.

The location is perfect, in fact more than perfect its heavenly. Every morning looking out to see the beautiful sparkling sea. Amazing sunrise and sunset. Marinos was the perfect host along with Denise and the amazing chef Diane, who's breakfasts were fabulous and kept us going until tea time. Nothing was too much trouble, Marinos is a beautiful person who made sure our stay was exceptional, which is was. The owner Panos made us very welcome too with bubbles to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary, he also has a restaurant in Kardemena called Avli, the food and service was also exceptional.

NISSEA is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. We visited in the last week of the season so the town was quiet but that suited us. Everything about the hotel is special: the decor, the fabulous views (we booked ‘Pasithea’ which is the largest room with an extended balcony), the spotlessly clean beach directly in front of the hotel and the delicious breakfast cooked to order every morning. I have never visited a hotel where the people are so genuine and welcoming- the owner (Panos) and staff knew us by name from day 1; everyone was incredibly attentive and made us feel at home and relaxed. Marinos, Denise, Niko (front of house and bar) and Diana (chef) all work really hard to make everyone’s stay special. Our room was cleaned to a really high standard every day too. I couldn’t recommend this place more- I already went to go back.

This place exceeded my expectations and more . We should have stayed longer . From the moment we were greeted by Marinos who is simply the best and coordinates the place and introduced to Panos the owner , Denise at the bar and Diana the chef . Nothing was too much trouble , fantastic service , wonderful location , luxurious feel and total relaxation. Definitely coming again and for longer .

The small staff were all fabulous. Marinos was exceptional with his care of his guests. You felt like a friend as the hotel was small and he knew everyone’s name. Nicos in the bar was always friendly and would go above and beyond. The cook made wonderful meals and the cleaners had attention to detail when cleaning the room.

I loved this hotel, and what made it special was the staff, who were a small team, Marianos, Nikko, Denise and Diana who made you feel special the minute you arrive. The location was fabulous, the sunrise from your room or the early morning swim was idyllic. This place is just heaven on earth!

A DREAM WEEK. The Nissea Boutique Hotel is a modern, elegant property, with every detail carefully looked after. It’s located right on the seafront of Kardamena, within walking distance of the town’s main attractions (restaurants, bars, services). It has its own private beach, managed impeccably. We had an unforgettable experience, not only thanks to the beautiful location but above all to the staff (Marinos, Denise, Panos), who welcomed us from the very first moment with great courtesy and hospitality, and who, throughout our stay, were always extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Truly worthy of the highest praise. The suite was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every comfort, with a stunning sea-view terrace; the views at sunset and sunrise were extraordinary. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful: there’s an à la carte menu from which you can choose two dishes per person. Everything is freshly prepared by the talented cook. Absolutely delicious. “Excellent hotel where they take the best care of the guests!”

This was our second stay in this lovely hotel. It is right on the beach and location is excellent! We loved everything - the room decor, the beach, the food, the Apivita bath products! But the real treasure of this hotel is the staff, especially, Marinos. You always feel most welcomed here, employees take the best care of the guests wishes and make you smile all day! We will return to Nissea next year again!

“Amazing hotel”

I have been to Kos and other Greek islands several times, but this hotel was the most wonderful of all. The view of the sea was phenomenal, the room was beautiful, the hotel very clean, the beach well maintained, and the restaurant excellent. But the true heart of the hotel is the people who work there, making every day feel special. For the first time ever, already on the second day of my stay, I made a reservation for the following year. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect holiday destination.
