“Excellent stay in a well upped and positioned property.”

We received a very warm welcome from the owner, Andreas, who made us feel instantly at home and gave us a guided tour of the town, as well as lots of restaurant and beach recommendations, all of which were excellent. The property came with a car which was so handy and an amazing addition which we used for sight seeing and nipping to the supermarket. The property was spotless and very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, hot tub and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend and love to return.

The house is lovely, clean, spacious and modern. The outside is beautiful and very relaxing so you don't even need to leave the house. The car that comes with the house is very useful to get around as long as you can drive manuel! The host was one of the best we've ever had, very kind and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We definitely recommend staying here.

This beautiful villa is luxuriously equipped with everything you could possibly need. Perfectly located just above the town (only a 10-minute walk), it offers a stunning garden and a breathtaking view of the sea. The owner, a local resident, was available 24/7 and provided us with valuable tips and recommendations for exploring the entire island. In 20 years of traveling and summer vacations, we have never felt so welcomed and comfortable anywhere else. This place truly felt like home. Highly recommended!

Andreas and his wife were super hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. such lovely People and i highly recommend staying at this property. the hot tub was brilliant, i even got up early one morning to relax in it whilst i watched the sunrise.

We had the most wonderful stay at Alta Vista 2. The property itself is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and surrounded by peaceful scenery and an amazing view, that made it the perfect retreat, yet only 3 minutes drive from the village centre and the beautiful seafront . Every detail, from the decor to the amenities, was thoughtfully designed to create a relaxing and luxurious experience. We loved the hot tub ..a vey relaxing way to cool down! and the complementary car was perfect for nipping into the village…a great added extra What truly set this stay apart, though, were the hosts. They were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed, offering great local recommendations and always being available if we had questions. We can’t recommend this villa highly enough. It exceeded all our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to returning and seeing our new friends again. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Alta Vista 2 is amazing and without question the best holiday we have ever had, it comes with great views of Kardemaina and equipped with everything you could need, including a hotub and complimentary vehicle. Inside the villa it is extremely stylish and clean, with everything you may need while you are on your holiday. Located in a quiet spot about 5 minute drive from the town, the peace and quiet there is absolutely priceless, and the short trip into town you will find everything you might need from supermarkets to great bars and tavernas. Your hosts Andreas and Phillipa are truly the best most friendly people, they will make you feel so welcome during your stay, nothing is ever a problem, they helped us out with everything and anything we ever needed or asked them about, their dedication to you during your stay is absolutely fantastic, i cannot speak more highly of them or the property!! I recommend this villa to everybody, and we cannot thank Andreas and Phillipa enough for their hospitality and will 100% be returning!!

The property was just up on the hill next to the town, the view was amazing, it was new and designed perfect. the jacuzzi was one of my kids favourite.

“Magical week at Alta Vista!”

What a wonderful week at Alta Vista - huge thanks to Philippa and Andreas for making it such a special trip for us! A beautiful, modern villa with spectacular views and a relaxing atmosphere. There is every modern convenience you could ask for. My kids were particularly enamoured with the hot tub! When we arrived the fridge was filled with fruit, wine, water and they provided honey and the most delicious olive oil from their farm. The AC worked great as did the WIFI, and the coffee machine, smoothie maker & smart tv were all put to good use by the teens. A car was also provided which was super helpful for day trips around the island & for nipping into Kardamena. Philippa & Andreas are exceptional hosts & the kindest people - they could not do enough for us. They collected us from our hotel, provided brilliant restaurant, beach & day trip tips for the week and even took us to the doctor when my daughter needed it. As hosts they went above and beyond to ensure we had a trip to remember and by the end I felt we had become part of their extended family! Zia was a big highlight from their list of must dos, the sunset views are simply magical - a must do. We recommend Alta Vista highly & would absolutely love to return.

It was in a beautiful setting, very modern, clean and everything we needed was there… Andreas and Philippa were amazing. Nothing was any trouble for either of them.

Such a great place! It's beautifully furnished, super comfy, perfectly clean... and the (sunrise) view is amazing. AC worked great, internet connection was strong (we worked here for a couple of days), kitchen has everything we needed to cook (and a mixer to make smoothies). Most importantly: Andreas is everything you could ask for in a host and more. Super nice, helpful and supportive, always concerned about his guests' wellbeing. We would have loved to stay longer.

“A beatiful, peaceful gem of a place”

Andreas and Philippa (best hosts EVER) own these beautiful two houses that lie on the top of a hill overlooking Kardamena and the sea. Don’t worry - you get a complimentary car, so you can drive to the town in cca 3 minutes! The view is breathtaking, but so is the house. It’s clean, modern, spacious. The outdoor area is just the best! Sitting area in front and at the back of the house, so one can enjoy in the shade in the morning or in the afternoon. The jacuzzi is a delight. We really loved our stay in Alta Vista 2 and we recommend it to everyone who enjoys peace and quiet with a great view (but can still easily access the plenty great restaurants and bars of Kardamena).

A beautiful luxurious private Villa in pristine condition in an incredible peaceful location with a top of the range Jacuzzi to enjoy the stunning views that you will never ever forget everything about this Villa is just simply amazing including the owners two of nicest human beings we have had the pleasure to meet. They even provided us with a car to tour the island and gave us so much local information to enjoy our holiday even more.

“Absolutely perfect- the most comfortable and luxurious home for a group holiday!”

The Villa was absolutely incredible, the photos don't do it justice! The view, facilities, and location of the house were so brilliant, it is secluded and private but only a 10 minute walk down to the centre of town! Our hosts, Andreas and Philippa went above and beyond to make sure my friends and I were comfortable, they gave us so many restaurant and bar recommendations, and drove us to secluded beaches whenever we asked! Honestly, 10/10, I have never experienced hosts like them before- my friends and I didn't want to leave!

First of all, thank you very much Philippa & Andreas to let us stay at your place in Kos! It was an amazing experience for us. From the start to the end of our trip on Kos we can only report good things. Philippa & Andreas are a very lovly and open host who carried for us the best way they can do. The communication right from the booking on was perfect. They were friendy and gave us an open-hearted welcome. As we arrived at the airport and couldn't get a taxi because a lot of people are waiting for one, Andreas didn't hesitated to pick us up from the airport. As he drived us to the apartment we learned a lot of the host and the island. He recommended a few very good restaurants to us and also which beach we should visit on our trip. So bad that we aren't staying longer, so we could try out each recommendation, but the ones we checked out, they were worth it! The apartment was lovly. Clean, modern and big enough for our group of 5 people! It had everything you needed. The couple welcomed us with wine, beer, water, fresh fruits, honey and house made olive oil from their farm. The apartment was well equiped with a fruit blender, a toaster, a grill, a/c in every room, a tv, towels and also beachtowels, a heated hot tub with an integrated soundsystem and the best of all the amazing view over Kardamaina. You have a perfect view on the sunrise too! They gave us a car free of charge for our trip to explore the island. We also could have rented a buggy or quad from a friend of the hosts. They also checked on us everyday if everything is okay and if we needed anything from them. We could ask them everytime when we needed a recommendation. Andreas also made a reservation for us at a very good restaurant from a friend of him. He never dissapointed us with his recommendations. On our last day we could use the apartment and the car till the last minutes before we have to head back. Andreas drove us to the airport too.
