Overview
Located 6 km from Karasjok, this charming design hotel has a wood-fired sauna and outdoor hot tub from which guests can admire the wonderful nature of Norwegian Lapland. Engholm Design Lodge is set on a husky dog farm and provides an ideal base for those seeking a unique wilderness experience. Guests stay in cosy cabins, which have their own kitchenettes. WiFi internet access and private parking are offered free to guests of Engholm Husky Design Lodge. Numerous outdoor pursuits will keep guests busy in any season. Winter activities naturally include dog sledding but also snow mobile tours and cross-country skiing. Fishing, canoeing and hiking are popular past times during the summer months. Dinner can also be arranged if requested in advance.

“Relaxing enjoyable stay in beautiful surroundings.”
Friendly supportive staff. The log cabin accommodation was warm, comfortable and beautifully unique in the attention to detail, artistically designed carved wood, stretched leather, fur chair and stone framed mirror. Husky ride was fun learning about their training from friendly staff. Highly recommended for a comfortable and unique experience.

A pretty, modern, comfortable lodge in the middle of the forest. Lots of lovely huskies on the doorstep. A wonderful experience, certainly also for longer stays. Karasjok is only a few minutes away by car, so Engholm Lodge is well connected.
