“Amazing stay!!”

The property exceeded our expectations. Had a restaurant which served a good variety ( even though we could not eat there due to halal reasons) we were still able to order coffee, hot chocolate etc) they had a gift shop too! The staff is absolutely amazing!! Wow

We had such an amazing greeting by Malencia, she was so helpful and so charming. We also had an evening meal and were served by Emily, she was also fantastic. We became very attached to Malencia and Emily and they really made our stay special. Such smiley, happy helpful people. The Canyon Road house is very luck to have them as part of the team!

Lovely big sites and exceptionally clean very nice facilities which are communal but only shared between a few sites. Great cooking/ washing up area.

Everything was exceptional. The staff were AMAZING. everything was just fantastic. I'm not going to put this under a negative review as this is just a suggestion as we were sent on the incorrect road...there should be more road postings to alert people they are on the right road and distance to the accommodation. WE LOVED our stay. Thank you all.

Nice place, old cars everywhere even in the restaurant. Campsite with electricity, wc nearby. Quite near to fish river canyon. Really good food in restaurant.

The location of the campsite is fantastic surrounding the hill. The campsites are shared but still have plenty of private space. The shared toilets etc are plenty and maintained very clean with hot showers. The swimming pool is excellent and the shop is quirky and has a unique character. We saw jackals in the night and could hear them.

The ambience of Canyon Roadhouse Camp and shop is very enjoyable. We had a campsite furthest from the road which was nice. The staff are exceptional and friendly.

Great location for driving to fish river canyons for sunset. Cool camping spot and pool to use. Restaurant right there for drinks and very quirky and weird

Wonderfull experience but the pool was too cold

We stayed at the site number 11, and it was really nice, a bit far away from the others, with an amazing view to the night sky. The shared facilities were very clean and the main lodge was only a short walk from the campsite, making it easy for us to reach the pool and the restaurant. From the campsite there are also some very nice hiking trails with amazing views of the surrounding area. The campsite is also very conveniently located near the main gate of the Fish River Canyon, only a short drive.
