Super comfortable and cozy yurt with a very friendly and responsive host! We visited in mid-April and were not cold at all! In fact we turned the heater off halfway through the night because we were so warm! Delicious and hearty breakfast (with plunger coffee which was a total luxury at this point in our trip)! The host was really kind and very responsive. Such a treat!

“Perfect and welcoming stay”

Perfect stay in Karakol. We wanted to do the Ala Kul trek and our host helped us with all the preparations and information. She was so friendly and her English was very good. We met her husband on the last day and he also spoke perfectly English and was very welcoming and friendly. This is a perfect place to start your trip as you feel very well taken care of. Thank you for your kindness! We can recommend this place to everyone!

“Great place run by a lovely family”

We stayed only for a couple of nights before preparing for a 3-day trekking. The host were very friendly and helpful, and it was the perfect place to prepare for the trekking and to visit Karakol. Of course, this yurta is not exactly the authentic experience because it had plenty of comforts (including plug-in).

Host made me breakfast at 6am, because I planned for hiking at 7. Best start of the day.

Very nice informal homestay, where we could get know more about the life of local people. The breakfast was very tasty and more than enough in a quantity.

Kac was an excellent host - he was welcoming and spoke perfect English. He helped us with travel arrangements to nearby sights and recommended places to eat. The yurt was warm and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. he prepared a tasty and extensive breakfast. The facilities were modern and luxurious - bathroom, warm shower and large kitchen. The yurt was set in his beautiful garden full of fruit and veg. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. I hope to return!

“pleasant and unique staying experience in the center of Karakol”

Staying at this place was the highlight of our Kyrgzstan trip. A really nice lady is running this place with her family where they also stay close by. The Yurt is very close to the center of Karakol and you will be able to reach the sights on foot. When we wanted to go hiking or make nature trips, she helped us book cabs. This place offers a very different experience from staying in a hotel room but our Yurt was VERY comfortable and even though it was cold at night, the sheets were really warm! They also have heaters for fall and winter. We had our separate toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and well taken care of.

Lovely place with a fantastic atmosphere. Extremely helpful owner speaking really good English. Great breakfast and just round the corner a great local restaurant.

“We felt at home!”

Such an amazing place! The hosts are so welcoming and helpful - it feels more like a homestay! We stayed with them for two nights before our hike and just hang out on the terrace and enjoyed their garden which is now lush and green and then one night after we came back. They helped us with organising our hike and we were allowed to leave our luggage with them. The yurts are very cosy and decorated with lovely details and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was rich and tasty and we enjoyed the coffee from a french press. The hosts even let us try some of their own local food which was delicious. The bathroom is new and extremely clean. (They just opened their guesthouse this year!) There is a supermarket + ATM just around the corner and some restaurants as well. It’s the perfect place to start and plan your hike and to relax after spending time in the beautiful mountains surrounding Karakol. Thank you! :)

“Excellent for trekkers. A delightful yurt experience close to key amenities.”

We stayed for 2 days before the Ala-Kul trek and 1 day after. The yurts are clean, warm, and cozy. They held up well during the rain, and the beds inside are comfortable. There's plenty of space for charging devices. With two yurts and two bathrooms, you essentially get a private bathroom with a European-style toilet and hot shower. There's a well-equipped kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee. The host is incredibly accommodating, and the breakfasts are both affordable and tasty. The location is excellent. It's near the Duet Hostel, a convenient spot for marshrutkas. A 24/7 grocery store is just around the corner, and a mountain gear rental shop is a mere 3-minute walk away.

Aijan and her Family are very kind and generous. We recommend anyone passing through Karakol to stay over at their sweet garden Yurt for a night.

Small Yurts in a beautiful vegetable garden two blocks from downtown Bishkek. Shop around the corner. Basically a homestay with a great family. The owners are some of the nicest people I have met in a long time. A great place to relax before heading out into the mountains, Kas is an experienced mountain guide and can help you plan your journey. Clean Yurts, modern new bathrooms and kitchen, new comfortable beds.

“Incredible place”

Cosy and really clean place. The host is so nice and so helpful. The breakfast was delicious. It is next to everything you need in the city. We planned to stay one night at first and stayed 3 nights instead !
