Really nice and clean, easy to check in. It’s not in the bed location with a 25-30 min walk to the centre and although it has a fridge and a kettle, you can’t cook. Overall great value though.

“Very modern and recently renovated.”
We stayed at Vavilon in Karakol for three nights and it was such a refreshing stay. After a few more "rugged" places throughout the stans, this place was modern, recently updated and very much up to western standards. It was spotlessly clean, the owners were friendly and provided any needed items and we were very comfortable here. It's probably a 30 minute walk from the true center of town and a 15 minute walk from a more major street with restaurants and a Globus grocery store. There's a corner shop on the next corner that wasn't too bad in a pinch. It was nice to have a fridge and there is parking if you have a car. I'm not sure what else to say about this place but everything was great and probably the nicest place we stayed in Kyrgystan. Would recommend.

“Extremely clean place and remarkable hosts!”
This place, and most importantly the people running it, are setting an example for how guesthouses should be. The chalet was spanking clean, absolutely spotless, with all the required amenities. The bathroom features great design and the kitchen is well-stocked. When it comes to the hosts, they run the entire operation super smoothly and they were very accommodating toward us despite the family crisis they were going through. They even offered to do our laundry for a fee, which was not just clean when we got it back, but also neatly folded. Overall, the value for money is just excellent and I can safely say it's the best guesthouse I've ever stayed in!

“One Word. Perfection!”
We stayed at 5 different cities at Krygzystan but this house made us want to stay more at Karakol. A perfect experience with no downside. There is a small kitchen with plates,glasses etc. A fridge, a microwawe and a dining table. There is an air conditioner in the room, one cozy bed and cloth hangers. There is a big smart TV at the wall. In the bathroom a huge shower with 2 different showerheads. There are hotel slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap and shampoo, towels, even a sewing kit with a spare button! Windows have blackout curtains. There Are 2 nice chair in front of the house where you can chill. The owner is a great lady. She helped us with anything. They washed and dried our clothes. And after we checkout we wanted to go to jeti-ogüz and comeback to karakol so we asked her to if we can leave our luggage at hotel and she directly took them and put them somewhere safe. After we Come back to Karakol she helped us with transportation to Colpan-Ata. If we ever come to Karakol again we will definitely stay at Vavilon without hesitation!

The chalet really felt like our home away from home for a bit. Spacious and clean, nice shower, great comfortable bed. Owner/Host was incredibly helpful, communication through WhatsApp was great. Loved it so much we extended our stay.

We loved our stay at Vavilon. The room is super nice and has everything you need for a base in Karakol. The owner is so lovely and kind and was always around to help if we needed anything. It's in a quieter part of town but plenty around, it's a bit of a walk to the center but this was not a problem for us. The views of the mountains here are beautiful too.

“I truly recommend this place!”
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in Karakol. The location offers free private parking, the room was very clean, and it had everything you could expect, even compared to more expensive accommodations in Kyrgyzstan. As for the host, I have no words, she was extremely kind and even let us leave our car at the guesthouse for an extra night after we had checked out so we could go to Altyn Arashan with another vehicle.

“Great base for Ala-Kul Hike”
Modern, beautiful guesthouse in Karakol. Spacious, with AC and a great shower. Recommended for a couple. It's a 7 min ride from the centre. They can reserve your accommodation for the Sirota campsite if hiking to Ala-Kul lake. They also kept our backpacks whilst we hiked, which was a massive help! Very friendly host, who also gave us some info on marshrutkas.
