The house is beautiful. It’s in front of the river with beautiful views, rooms are great , beds comfortable and walking distance to restaurants, etc otherwise you get Yandex which is ridiculously cheap. The lady who runs guest house it’s very nice and helps.

Nice and comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast and very nice hosts, who gave us great local recommendations. It was great that we could rent camping staff for a five day hiking tour. And the host helped us a lot with planning our stay in Kyrgyzstan.

Great place with wonderful owner who's more than willing to help you plan your days in the area. We got great advice on the Ala-Kul trek. Breakfasts are something special too.

Perfect family owned guesthouse. Large rooms with everything you need. A delicious breakfast and invaluable advises given by the owner. He knows everything - not only in Karakol - but whole Kyrgyzstan and shares his information with you. Highly recommend staying here!

The host and the environment

Defenitly the best place for travellers to stay in Karakol. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and clean. I forgot my documents there and they arranged for them to be sent by taxi to Bishkek that same day! They show real care for their guests.

This is a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay with friendly and helpful owners. It is a great place to meet other travellers, especially while eating the delicious breakfasts. The room was large and comfortable. It was nice to sit amongst the trees in the garden. There is a good supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. Minibuses stop outside the guest house and take you to the centre of town. Karakol is a great place to visit with lots of hiking options as well as sightseeing (animal market on Sundays; Lake Issyk-Kul; Dunggan mosque; Orthodox Church).

The host is very nice and helpful. She speaks perfect Dutch, surprisingly! Trips could be arranged very last minute thanks to her. The kids are cute too. Breakfast is nice and the eating hall is very cozy, overlooking the orchard.

Lovely place with an amazing owner. Very welcoming and great food for breakfast. The house is perfect to meet other travellers. We could park our car during our hike there, which was so nice!
