The hosting family treated us like kings, they cooked for us, organised and guided our horse tour, the atmosphere was intimate and special thanks for the karaoke night and gifts. The whole family including the children embodies the perfect host! The yurt and whole facility around it is authentic and offers a comfortable place to relax. It's a must have if you are in the Karakol valley, I warmly recommend it to everybody. Thank you for the lifelong experience!

There was nothing I liked about this property. The worst part was probably the terrible smell inside the yurt – it was very difficult to stay there because of it. The address provided on Booking.com is incorrect and leads to a completely different location. On top of that, the property sends arrival instructions that are also wrong and direct guests to another place. As a result, we had to spend unnecessary money on park entrance fees because of the misleading directions.

Everything was incredible. The location, cleanliness, food, animals and people. Azamet and his family were great hosts. We also got horse riding and a 4x4 tour and had great time. We will definitely be back.

Spotless and well maintained yurts, clean washrooms with very hot water, nice views and surroundings with a couple of lovely cows. The owners are a super friendly family - the son speaks good English and the parents are lovely. Great homemade breakfast and dinner, some of the best food we've eaten on the trip.

This family owned yurt is one of my best accommodations in Kyrgyzstan. They offered me some sweets and drink just after my arriving, that made me easy to talk with them. They were always so kind and helpful that I could feel like my home. 100% home made dinner was unforgettable taste. Also the owner gave me a ride to go back to Karakol. Their spirits of entertainment is super! Thanks to them, I fully enjoyed staying in a yurt surrounded by beautiful nature. I strongly recommend this yurt for all travelers who want to relax in the nature and enjoy tasty food with local people. This yurt is the perfect destination for you!

“Great yurt experience!”

The host family were so nice. They chatted with us guests for hours in the evening, teaching us lots about Kyrgyz life and culture, and made tasty manti for dinner. The yurt was a cool experience and perfect situation to take some instagramable photos of the mountains.

Attractive traditional yurt very comfortable and authentic. The facilities were well-maintained, with hot water and clean bathrooms. The family was extremely nice and we felt like home. We had great food for dinner and breakfast. Good conversation an excellent kyrgyz vodka. With the idea that the yurt is not a hotel, the stay was wonderful. I wish family staff much encouragement to carry forward their establishment. Highly recommended!

We had read all the reviews and knew we were going to enjoy our stay at Karkol Yurt Village, but the reality exceeded our expectations. We felt as if we were surrounded by friends and family.

Everything! The yurt was very comfortable and authentic. We also had dinner with the family which ended up in a starter, dessert and main course with vegetables from the garden, steaming soup and (obviously) Kyrgyz vodka. The family were the sweetest people and we had such a good time with them even if some of the communication was on google translate. Would recommend for everybody who wants a true and authentic experience of the Kyrgyz culture! 11/10 ♥️

The excellent hospitality of the all the family members managing the property

The family that running this place is so nice and caring. We felt really good in this place. The food was really nice and fulfilling served as at home. The surroundings is great, next to the trekking path. Please have in mind that you sleep in yurt not in hotel, so facilities are different, but we know what to expect so for us it was not any minus.
