Fantastic Guest House in Karakol, run by Sergei and his wife who are both the most lovely and friendly people and helped us with so many things during our stay. The location is very good, walking distance from a Globus, ski hire shops, and some restaurants

“Very Positive experience in Karakol”

Sergei was super nice host with us. He was available with us to help cleaning mountain equipments after ala kul hike. He also allowed us to make laundry and the electric heater in the room was useful to dry clothes overnight before departure. He gave us all info and tips we asked. While going up to the mountains he also took care of our main baggage which we couldn’t bring with us. His house position was perfectly located, near the city centre and karakol bazar. We had everything around, restaurants, markets and ATM not too far.

Sergey is a crack! Very funny and communicative: we don't speak any Russian and he doesn't speak any English but we spoke the love language and everything went great. The vibe is very nice and the place is very well located for both visiting the city center and leaving for trekkings. Highly recommended!

So, we began our trip around Yssykul with few problems (lost phone, car battery down). Luckily enough, the host Sergej has been extremely helpful and supportive, helping us fixing it all and making the most out of our stay. He and his wife are welcoming and will make you feel at home. The host Serguei was very friendly. I had the private room and it was very confortable, large bed, private bathroom with hot shower. Good breakfast included. Close to restaurants and supermarkets.

I absolutely loved staying here. The hosts made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, everything is cosy and nice and simple. Breakfast was always wonderful and we met such lovely people here. My plans for trekking didn’t go as I hoped so I was back and forth for a week and they always welcomed me back with open arms. When I felt sick they did everything to make me feel better and more comfortable. The location is great, we walked everywhere pretty much but you can easily catch a taxi onto other areas. Lots of Restuarant’s, cafes and supermarkets nearby. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! Спасибо вам обоим за все!
