The owners are really friendly and helpful, they can organise anything that you need. The guesthouse is located in a quiet part of town but is easy to walk into the centre of Karakol, get a taxi, or bus as its near the main road.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like friends rather than guests. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. They helped us with everything we needed, from local advice for restaurant to organizing activities, and always did it with a smile. One of the warmest and most genuine guesthouse experiences we had.

Hospitality was amazing and we felt instantly at home. I highly recommend Emir Guest House for your stay and they also help you enhance your entire Kyrgystan trip which is added bonus. The room has amazing mountain view and we slept incredibly well.

Jibek was a fantastic host, she had a very welcoming presence, and was very opened to questions, which made us feel comfortable around her. They had a hot shower, which was nice. I recommend anyone to visit Emir’s guesthouse if they are looking for a stay in Karakol.

Absolutely loved staying with this kind and lovely couple in their new home. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, cosy bedding and large windows with views of the stunning mountains. Very quiet location and an easy walk from the bus station. Looking forward to visiting again one day.

The place had comfortable rooms. The hosts spoke English. They were extremely kind; we felt like family. The host is also a guide and led us on mountain excursions with great professionalism. In short, we made good friends with the host family.

* The host couple Askar and Jibek are wonderful people. They are very hospitable and always offered us tea and snacks. They also helped us with booking tours to Altan Arashan, horse riding and other places. * The husband Askar also doubles as a tour driver which is very helpful - he has a nice Lexus and took us to many places (including Kazakh border) for a reasonable price. * Rooms are spacious, clean and big. * Feels like a home which is nice.

Definitely the best accommodation we booked in Kyrgyzstan. The owners were super welcoming, we talked a lot, they gave us a dinner and breakfast for free, we booked a private room with bathroom and everything was clean.

We had a great stay at Emir Guest house. The hosts made us feel at home and helped us with booking our accommodation for the Ala Kul trek. We could even leave our luggage there while on the trek. The room was really clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Everything. The couple who run the place are absolutely wonderful. They are there ready to fullfill any request. Always smiling and in good spirits. Our room upstairs was very spacious and very clean. I was sick one day and had to spew in the toilet. And you know how it is-you don’t want to touch anything around the loo seat ever but in this case I felt comfortable leaning over became the loo was spotless!

Basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable. A bit out of the centre but good for a rental car. Wonderful friendly and obliging hosts who speak English. Very helpful with information and organising trips.

Clean room with all necessary amenities and new bathroom. The owners are incredibly helpfull and helped us organizing our travels and the Ala Kul Hike. We felt very welcome and returned two Times during our travels in the Karakol region.
