Very cute family house stay with clean facilities and the city centre in walking distance. Very quiet in the evenings, grea to calm down for a couple of days and simply relax. The host speaks great English and is happy to help with any recommendations on what to do in the area

Such a pleasant place to stay - being in a real Kyrgyzstani home with kind and informative (and excellent english) hosts. Fantastic shower, nice green garden, and a supermarket nearby.

I had a fantastic four-day stay at ArtHouse in Karakol. The host, Nurdin, speaks fluent English and provided great information on exploring the area. The guesthouse is conveniently located near a supermarket, a lounge, and bus stops to the Altyn Arashan trek starting point. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, and the shared facilities were modern and well-equipped. Overall, a perfect place to stay in Karakol with a welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and great amenities.

It was a great stay, all the facilities are very clean, it has a large clean and fully equipped kitchen, the same as the bathroom and a spacious living room. The spacious and comfortable rooms. The owner Nurdin is very nice and will help you with whatever you need, mountain routes, places in the city, etc.

Such a cosy place and great place to return to after a day of hiking. Nurdin is really helpful for hiking advice and generally great to speak to/ if you had any questions about the local area as he knows so much! The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the shower is great and it is peaceful at night. Can't recommend Arthouse enough and it is such good value for money!

The house was impeccably clean. I was able to use the living room to work. Nurdin and his family were very welcoming and helpful. They make you feel at home. I will definitely come again if I decide to go back to Karakol.

“The nicest homestay in Karakol”

We really enjoyed our stay at Arthouse - actually we felt at home :-) The house is cozy with super nice interior and art, and we enjoyed hanging out in the living room or kitchen area in the evenings writing our journals etc. Nurdin was a GREAT host, very helpful and giving us lots of recommendations on what to do and how. The whole family was just so kind and hospitable. The location is a bit from the city centre, but it's not a problem at all, because you have marshrutkas just outside the door. The kitchen was fully eqiupped and there was also a quite good supermarket close by.

Great rooms, shared kitchen and bathroom (amazing shower) super friendly and helpful host. Nice assortment of maps and guides/articles about regional tourist activities.

Nurdin and his family are very kind and super helpful regarding tips in the area of Karakol. The guesthouse is clean and well mantained. They even have a kitchen that you can use. 100% would recommend!

Just marvellous.everytging was so beautiful and great The room, the kitchen, bathroom, common places, quiet location super cosy, Charminf, clean., a wonderful stay. The host is such a nice and kind and helpful person. He let me stay and sleep before check in as I arrived with a night bus, offered me a pumpkin 😁 , great advice etc A great stay.

About 3 rooms in characterful home with welcoming, relaxed hosts. Comfortable, great kitchen, shower and barhroom. Yes its a 25 minute walk to the centre, but there's a marshrutka stop 20 metres away, so you get the benefit of a quiet neighbourhood and easy access to town. Also good food shops and Victory Park are very close.

We spent quite a few nights in diferent rooms and in the yurt. We loved the time we spent in Arthouse, the place is great, rooms, kitchen and bathoroom are nice and spotless. Family are very nice and welcoming, they will help you with everything you need. Best place in Karakol for sure.

Nurdin and his family are the best hosts. We felt very welcome. They are all very helpful and sweet. The place is super clean and has a well equipped kitchen. You can also leave your luggage if you go hiking. We will for sure come back!
