“Great yurt camp in Karakol centre”

Lovely couple running the yurt camp in the centre of Karakol. Excellent breakfast. Made every effort to ensure we stayed warm as it was the end of September. We were very comfortable!

hosts were lovely and very helpful - they sold us gas for camping stoves and a map, and let us store our bags there whilst we went off to the mountains

Really happy I stayed at this place, a yurt camp in the city center. After 3 weeks of cycling I wanted to hike the Ak Suu Traverse. But where to store my bicycle? The friendly owner took care of my bike. No problem, he said. They serve a nice breakfast, have hot showers and the place is clean. I would certainly recommend it.

“Stopover in Karakol”

Nice idea to buid a yurt camp in a city inside a nice garden. The place may be a little outdated already but the atmosphere is very nice and the hosts very friendly and helpful.

We had a really great time there! The owner was super helpful and let us park the car when we went for the trekking + gave us some really valuable tips on the hiking and more. Highly recommend the stay!

Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful in recommendations and directions. Cooked breakfast in the morning was delicious, fresh, and timings were flexible based on request. Highly recommend this simple but excellent yurt camp.

The owner is very nice and speaks English well. He makes the best fried eggs for breakfast! :D

“Nice stay with the best host ever”

We stayed at Arista as a starting point before heading to Altyn Arashan and was it the best possible choice. The yurt was nice and comfortable, even had a heater. The bathrooms are imppecably clean and had a nice breakfast included. Rustam is the greatest host ever! Extremely knowledgeable of everything there is to know about the attractions, places to eat, transportation recommendations... you name it, he's got you covered. Graciously offered to let us park our car inside during our trip to the mountains free of charge. Plus, they've got a cute, cuddly cat running around.

It was exceptional experience - we stayed there before and after our hike to the mountains. Very authentic, cosy and convenient place. The manager was super helpful and accommodating. Facilities clean and good working condition. Breakfast was just amazing. The yurts were staying in a fruit garden. It was a bit of walking to the bus station and the very centre of the town, but all in a reasonable distance. And the owner is happy to give you tips about how to get around the town, where are best shops and places to eat etc. Thank you very much, Yurt Camp! We'll stay again next time.

Was a perfect stay. The host is so friendly. We even could store our luggage during our hike to Altyn Arashan. There’s enough toilets and showers. Everything was perfect.

Very nice yurtcamp surrounded by the garden inside the city center of Karakol. Everything was clean and good organised. Hot water available almost all the time depending on amount of guests. Cool traveller climate with pictures in common areas
