“Excellent stay, excellent staff”
The hotel is located just opposite a bus stop with the Kyoto station just 20 minutes away. Easily accessible and was very convenient (just one bus) to go to kiyomizu-deru, Kodai-ji temple and bamboo forest, Gion, pontocho alley, Nishiki market etc etc. I must give a special mention to the receptionist at the hotel, his manners were exceptional!

“Last second booking”
Bit of a last minute booking but ended up being amazing and great value for money (especially as it was last minute). The staff were lovely, especially the man who greeted us initially. Room was great and an amazing size with everything you could need.

We loved everything to be honest! Particularly the cleanliness, the tasteful designs, the spacious room, the clean and easy washing machine and dryer, the friendly staff and the bus stop that was directly outside the hotel.

A kitchenette in the room was a surprise, though oddly microwaves are only on the first floor. Staff had no trouble communicating between their English and my basic Japanese.

“Amazing price quality room”
Very comfortable room, and price quality wise a very good deal. The beds were comfortable, the decor was very nicely done, the people at the reception were friendly, there is a supermarket right across the street, there is a bus stop right outside the door, ... When our luggage got lost, both the receptionist and the hotel manager were really helpful and fixed their mistake. I want to emphasize that despite the situation with the luggage, we would definitely come back here if we ever return to Kyoto!
