as per booking.com we have to pay 4 night stay in the hotel but they charge us 05 nights payment. When we said its not fair they said we have to charge same amount, either you stay or not. another thing the same day they give us good room with commode but shover with water penetration, early next day they shifted our luggage in other room without commode, even they did not clean the room next 04/days not even change our towels or bed sheets as well. very bad performance, Our payment must return for the one day.

The breakfast was standard. Location is in the heart of the city everything was located in approximity so travel is not an issue. The staff was really cooperative with standard management. I would recommend this place.

“My stay at Diplomat Inn Hotel - Karachi”

My recent stay at this hotel can only be described as a sheer disappointment. I reserved a Deluxe Family Room which should have contained 2 double beds for me and my sibling. I was instead given a basic double bed. Prior to my arrival I made at least 3 attempts to clarify the bed arrangement which the hotel failed to acknowledge. The managers solution was to offer me a mattress to sleep on the floor if I didn't wish to share a bed. The manager then told me he'd have a think and sort things out. In the end he handed me the keys to a second room and I assumed that was the worst of it. Aside from the room, other issues I faced at this hotel included. No running hot water, which meant cold showers. No working TV reception Gutter smells emanating from the bathroom The air conditioning unit was not functional The cherry on the cake came at the end when I was presented with a bill for 2 rooms. It seems that when the manager had given me the second room I had assumed he was going to give me this for free for the mistake they made for not providing us with the correct room. According to the manager there is no such thing as goodwill as in his own words 'who gives away things for free in Pakistan'. Overall, the experience at the hotel ruined the end of a decent holiday. I would not recommend this hotel, the management are crooks and cheats.

“Excellent”

The hotel is located very central, you only need around 10min by car or Bike to reach Jinnah's Tomb and other famous sights. On the street next to the Hotel you will find a lot of different ATMs, Money Exchange Shops, Local and Western Restaurants aswell as a place where you can buy a SIM-Card. The staff was exceptional adhering to any wish any time and being polite throughout my stay. They have a little Minibar from where you can get Sodas and Water. The room itself was very good value for money. The bed was very comfortable, a lot of Pillows were provided. The bathroom was fine too but keep in mind that there is no hot water from the shower. All in all a very good ratio from price to service!

I stayed at the diplomat hotel in karachi and was not expecting a great deal given the price. I am used to staying in 5 star accomodation being from the UK. However I decided to stay in a local Pakistani hotel within the community. This place exceeded my expectations for value for money. The place has superb staff who were at hand and kind and courteous at all times. Nothing was to much trouble. The hotel can collect you from the airport and assist in all matters including obtaining local SIM and calling taxis for me. They saved me considerable expense. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning worked a dream, for once I didn't get a sore throat and the internet was good. Room was cleaned and breakfast provided when I wanted it to and I was not disturbed. Money exchange and shops within walking distance. I was prior to booking wary having concerns regarding security but these were alleviated very quickly. The owner was humble and I felt very safe. They provided me guidance and advice whenever requested. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again when I am next in karachi. With the money I saved I was able to donate more to charity whilst here. So I thank the guys for their heartfelt hospitality, comfort and security. For price, value and quality you will find this place hard to beat and I can see why they have such good reviews. Absolutely splendid stay and great holiday.

“Days well spent”

The property was clean. The staff was really hospitable. The toilet was clean. The AC was fine. The beds were fine. They gave extra beds for 500 per head. However, extra person breakfast was charged at 300 per day. Other than that everything was fine if you look at it through the lens of a budget hotel. Everything was not top notch but it was satisfactory.
