The family were amazingly friendly. They made us the most fantastic homemade dinner and breakfast and we played frisbee and volleyball with them in the garden. Very welcoming and lovely hosts

Kausar’s family was incredibly warm and hospitable! The food was delicious, rooms were clean and beds extremely comfortable. The little sisters were so nice and their beautiful presence was definitely part of our delightful experience. At all times they were available for any requests and also came up with insightful tips for our stay in the kolsay and kaindy lakes area. What a beautiful family, definitely the best stay so far of our road trip between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Heavily recommended!

They treat their guests like family, and their thoughtful protocols ensured a safe and comfortable visit. The homemade meals at Kausar House were unforgettable. Every breakfast and dinner was prepared with love and care, bursting with authentic flavors that made each bite a delight. It’s clear that food is a labor of love here, and I felt so fortunate to enjoy such delicious, heartfelt cooking. What truly made my stay special was the family’s incredible support. They went out of their way to help me plan visits to the nearby lakes, sharing invaluable tips and making sure I had the best experience possible. A special mention to little Kausar — her kindness, helpfulness, and bright spirit added so much joy to my visit. I also loved the chance to meet their friendly dogs and sheep, which added to the authentic countryside experience and made my short stay even more memorable. Although I was only there for two days, it felt like a home away from home, and I’m already looking forward to returning and staying longer next time. Kausar House is not just a place to stay — it’s a heartfelt experience filled with warmth, beauty, and genuine human connection. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with incredible hospitality in a stunning natural setting.

Wonderful people, very kind, hospitable and nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and it gave us a taste of local life. The house is also well located for visiting Kolsay lakes, Kaindy lake and the Charyn Canyon.

The host family was very friendly and supporting us with all our needs including creating spontaneusly dinner for us. They also supported us in organizing a driver for our transfer and to Kyrgistan.

We stayed one night and really enjoyed the local experience. The home is on a farm with animals, beautiful views, and a peaceful vibe. The oldest daughter spoke good English and made us a great dinner and breakfast.

“Ideal if you want quiet countryside experience close to the national parks”

It was simply amazing. I think I was even more well recieved because at the time, I was the only guest, and it realy felt homy and nice for me. The hosts are very helpful with anything you need and make a great breakfast! I would recommend arranging for taxi/food/cash before coming, as there isn't many facilities in the village. It is very rural after all.
