Newly built in 2017, this beautiful apartment lies in the heart of the Hunsrück district on the outskirts of the village of Kappel, offering a view of meadows and fields. Ferienwohnung Haus Giesner is situated on the upper floor of a family house and can be reached via a separate entrance. Ferienwohnung Haus Giesner is fully equipped and includes satellite TV. The apartment is an ideal base for cycling tours. The nearby Schinderhannes cycle path is 38 km long and invites you to cycle along the disused railway track of the Hunsrückbahn between Emmelshausen, Kastellaun and Simmern. Many other leisure opportunities such as minigolf, swimming and climbing are available in Kastellaun, 11 km away. Ferienwohnung Haus Giesner is also conveniently located for day trips to the Moselle, the Rhine, Trier (Germany's oldest city) and the Geverlay suspension bridge (the longest in Germany). It is 7 km from the venue for Nature One, one of Germany's largest music festivals, held in August, and also just 18 km from Frankfurt Hahn Airport. An airport transfer can be arranged on request.

The property was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It offered great value for money, and the host was very polite and welcoming. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and how well-equipped the place was — it felt like a home away from home. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind.

“Cozy, comfort in a lovely family location.”
We have stayed before and would stay again! Friendly hosts, with enough privacy to make it a real retreat even though it is in a small residential area. Always comfortable, warm and cosy in the winter months, with all the comforts of home while on holiday. Our family are close by and it is a perfect base. Our grandson, who is 4 years old, came to stay for a few nights and we were able to make it like a home from home for him. He loved the big bath, the comfy bed, and the breakfast table separate to the living area. He likes to check all the cupboards and was delighted to find that they were full of important and useful gadgets, just like at his house. The locality was perfect for us to make the Kindergarten runs as well.
