Overview
Set in the village of Kapesovo, this 1875 renovated mansion offers charming accommodation with mountain views. It features a traditional restaurant and a warmly decorated lounge with fireplace. Thoukididis rooms feature handpainted ceilings, wooden floors and local artifacts. They come with Cocomat mattresses, TV, iron and private bathroom with Apivita toiletries. Some rooms also have a decorative fireplace. A Greek breakfast is served daily. Coffees and local drinks can be enjoyed at the traditionally decorated lounge, while the restaurant prepares regional specialities. Guests can also participate in seasonal activities, such as wine making or mushroom picking. Within walking distance, Thoukididis guests can reach the village square, where they will find the owners’ pastry shop selling homemade products. The town of Ioannina is 45 km away.

“Great place in a sleepy mountain village for hiking”
Joanna and the family were incredibly nice and friendly, the breakfast and dinners were tasty, with a different thing each morning. The views are amazing and village is incredibly peaceful and picturesque, great location for hiking the Beloi steps, Vikos gorge etc. Clean and spacious rooms.

Absolutely loved everything about this property! The remote location, traditional decoration, incredible views, delicious food. It was beautiful and a great base for walking/hiking in the region.

The entire guesthouse was beautiful, including the eating area, patio, and room. Check-in was easy. The food was superb. Fireplace in the eating area was cozy. Host was very helpful. The homemade marmalades for sale were delicious.

Joanna, Heleni and family gave us the warmest of welcomes to this beautiful traditional guest house. The view is spectacular and the house charming - everything inside had been expertly hand made by her father. Joanna s cooking is excellent and we enjoyed two delicious meals by an open fire. They were so caring and warm it was hard to leave!
