Not recommended. It's like a group of beds laid in a hall with a bathroom like of a temporary setup. There's no proper ventilation and air circulation. Doors aren't safe or proper. No shelf or safety lockers. The property is not directly seen from outside, it's too inside of that building like in 3rd or 4th floor, first time the staff came down and take us to the room as the stay was too inside. Even the passage to the room feels no safety. The beds were clean and sleepable.

“Worst room... stay away...”

Possibly the worst ever room. There were 3 beds in the room, none of them made up. I think it was someone else's room. No electricity as power was down. Owner not very nice either.

Location is the key Very near to attractions like kandy lake and tooth relic temple as well as close to bus stand. It is located in central market for shopping as well

Great location, right in the heart of the city—within walking distance to the Temple of the Tooth, railway station, and bus stand. As a budget place, it offers all the basic facilities (including good WiFi) and is ideal for backpackers or anyone traveling on a low budget. The host provided exceptional service—taking us to places, helping us find things when we were struggling, and even dropping us at the railway station. You truly can't ask for a better host. He's simply a wonderful human being!

“Bad surprice”

When I was sourcing for this place,as I got it confirmed for.B.com after. My booking, found that this man has cancelled my booking, which surprised me I inquired why over the phone ?.... Said due to a repair etc.& lie stories.,must have sold it to some one else. I asked him not to do monkey business. Then he offered a shared room with a lady, which surprised me,as I don't like sharing rooms, I refused it. & Went lost. Then I found Madura Rest.

For that price we were super happy. Located right in the center.

Please don’t do this kind of business again with any one This is the filthiest place that I have ever booked in my entire life Bathroom floor and walls are stinky and smelly and has deep yellowish patches That un bearable smell make me sick My room floor is dirty as well I don’t think it has seen a mop from ages Dangerously unsafe wires are hanging all over the walls Even on the floor as you don’t have proper plugging system the extension wires are every where on room floor This is a curse and hate every thing in this room The owner or who ever uncharge person start to brush the commod and sink after we came And bring out the soggy broom in front of us No carpet at all

The bed was comfortable. Lots of fans to keep the room call. Wifi worked.

I stayed there twice, and the first time was much better than the second because the downstairs family room is much quieter than the one above it, where I stayed the second time.
