“Absolutely beautiful views of the hills.”

Absolutely beautiful views of the hills, rolling clouds and the city below. It was quite accessible to various places to visit in the city like the temples, botanical gardens and various cafes. The room and view from the bathroom as well were utterly gorgeous. They also had a cute cat called shadow who I loved to play with! A peaceful and scenic place to stay in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Would definitely return again.

Great helpful service and a wonderful view. A bit hard to get up if you're new to driving a tuktuk but worth it when you're up there.

“A great stay!”

A great stay! Lovely views, spacious room and everything was very clean. The host is great and the breakfast was delicious! It is up a pretty big hill (which gives you the amazing views) but we walked up and it was fine. Alternatively tuktuks are cheap and everywhere to get you up the hill!

Amazing stay at The SkyDeck! The views are 10/10 and the host was very helpful. It’s rare to find a place in Sri Lanka with such clean, comfortable rooms and all the proper amenities, but this place nailed it. If you're in Kandy, stay here!

“Best views, ever (!?)”

Some of the best views I’ve probably ever seen, fell in love as soon as Asi opened the curtains in my room. Balcony with seats and a table. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was new and also, the same views while you’re showering!? Incredible. Asi was a great host, friendly and helpful. Organised a tuk tuk tour of Kandy for me. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful both days, one day Pol Pani and one day milk rice plus omelette, sausages, toast, juice, fruit and tea/coffee. I was very sad to say bye to the views here, if you stay I’d definitely recommend getting up for sunrise.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Kandy has a fantastic energy, and this hotel made us fall in love with the city even more. The stunning views from our room and the private sheltered balcony provided the perfect spot to watch the hustle and bustle of the city from a peaceful distance. ​While it’s tucked away from the main center, a quick 10-minute tuk-tuk ride gets you there easily. Asitha was a wonderful host; kind, welcoming, and clearly doing his family proud by running their beautiful family home now hotel. A true gem in Kandy.

“Fabulous views over Kandy and wonderful hospitality”

Our favourite accommodation so far on our tour of Sri Lanka! The owner was so kind, friendly, welcoming and happy to chat. Everywhere was beautifully clean. We had a lovely room with a large balcony and amazing views over Kandy. Very comfortable bed and effective air-con. Tea and coffee-making facilities in the room as well as bottled water. Our bathroom had recently been refitted and there was even a great view from there! The electric shower ensured good water pressure (quite rare in Sri Lanka, it seems)! Delicious Sri Lankan breakfast served downstairs on the terrace - we particularly enjoyed the freshly-made paratha, which were very tasty, as well as decent coffee and apple juice. Again, there were amazing views from the terrace over Kandy.

We had a lovely three-day stay at The SkyDeck Kandy in the Deluxe Double Room with a small balcony, offering stunning panoramic views of the hills and city. The sunrise views from the dining deck were worth waking up early. The room was clean and comfortable, the location peaceful and convenient. A special word of appreciation for Asitha, our warm and attentive host, whose hospitality made the stay truly memorable
