We cannot recommend Lavender House highly enough. Everything about our experience was absolutely wonderful, the venue itself, the breathtaking views, the delicious food, and the overall atmosphere. However, what truly made our experience unforgettable was the kindness and dedication of the people who work there. We chose Lavender House as the venue for our wedding, and from the very beginning of the planning process, the team was there to help us with everything. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect and that we felt supported every step of the way. On our wedding day, they were by our side from start to finish, helping, encouraging, and caring for us in a way that made us feel as though we had family with us. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness meant the world to us. We are especially grateful to Damith and Rawindra , whose support and hard work helped make our wedding day truly magical. The most beautiful , peaceful setting in the tea plantations. Staff were super helpful and friendly . House is super spacious . High tea , dinner and breakfast were all exceptional . The manager even organised some beer and wine to be collected in a tuk tuk for us from the local bottle shop. Great value for all the meals and accomodation . A very special stay .

It is a magic place in the middle of tea plantation, old mansion nicely restored and decorated. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. One of the most memorable place in our trip in Sri Lanka

Lovely house in a quiet area with a wonderful view of the tea plantations. Ravindra made sure our stay was very comfortable and tailored it to our needs since we travel with a toddler. I would definitely recommend staying a few nights here

“Perfect home away from home with impeccable service”

The staff went above and beyond, it’s an incredibly small team but Ravindra made sure all needs were met. Our three year old loved the pool and the ability to run round the garden (be free to play). The views are breathtaking taking over the hills, it’s incredibly secluded, there’s a billiard room and the dinning room table is huge. Enjoy finding treasures like the Birmingham safe

Excellent hotel — small and intimate, with only 8 rooms. It offers a beautiful view where you can truly enjoy peace and quiet. Special thanks to the hotel manager for the warm welcome and for being so helpful. The food was also delicious.

The place is amazing. It’s truly unique in that each room Is its own little theme. We stayed in the Lavendar suite which had an amazing view from the room and was spacious and very comfortable. The staff - now we’re talking. They went so far above and beyond. It’s what makes the place to be honest despite the facilities. Our butler Ravi was always checking in on us to ensure that we were happy and was so nice taking us on tours to tea plantation and other cities and a unique experience at a Road side cafe. The chef - wow! You will dine like a king. He is super flexible and will practically make anything you want with enough notice. Truly incredible and probably some of the best food we had on our stay especially the breakfasts. They put in a honeymoon meal for us which was great.
