The most beautiful retreat space ever.

I spent a truly timeless moment there; this place is a genuine haven of peace, far from the chaos of the city. The rooms are spacious and full of charm and personality. You feel like you're in a painting; every detail is significant. There's a special energy, and I recommend it to anyone seeking peace and a connection with nature. Not to mention the staff, who were incredible and incredibly attentive.

“A calm retreat like place with amazing massages”

As others have said, this is a special but different place. Rather like a retreat, very calm, in the forest, with excellent food and lovely helpful staff. Our huge accommodation was stunning, with the largest outside bathroom ever & spacious beds & grounds. The massage was THE best ever, 90mins plus steam box for 20 mins for $55. Out of this world. Superb oils. Very traditional and skilful. Try it! Yoga was Hatha and 1:1 for $15. Very Enjoyable but not a workout if that’s what you want! Dinner was superb. Local Waterfall and swim was fun.

Incredibile retreat in the midst of the jungle. The decor is so researched - hands down one of the most beautiful room I have stayed in a hotel - every detail is studied and so fitting. Meals nurturing and wholesome and the ayurvedic treatment was unique.... Staying at samadhi has been the best choice of our Sri Lanka trip!

“A wonderful haven in the forest”

What a wonderful place to relax & recharge. The location is fabulous & the rooms are huge & comfortable. I had a sofa & a chaise in mine & made good use of them both. I had a cold whilst I was here & I couldn’t have wished for a better place to recover. I spent a lot of time resting on the sofa, looking out at the sea of green, listening to the sound of the river & the birds singing

Very calm, amazing landscape, healing treatments and food.

10/10, if you are looking for a retreat in the middle of the nature, with delicious typical Sri Lanka food and a spiritual experience immerse in a beautiful well decorated site and rooms, you should stop by. They offered Ayurveda treatments, yoga lessons,.cookery class and there are plenty of waterfalls and beautiful spots for hikings. The staff is always very gentle and around to support. Of you are expecting best WiFi connections, not willing to connect with natures and animals and looking for western food and commodities look for something else.

overall our stay has been truly pleasant. the staff are always warm, supportive, and welcoming, with genuine smiles that make you feel at home. the property is beautifully immersed in nature, an enchanting place that’s easy to fall in love with. the yoga sessions were simply amazing and added so much value to the experience.

Oh my gosh! It was so beautiful! Set in the forest, creeks all around The room was amazing and just made me feel at home. The staff were so kind and helpful and the Aurveydic treatments? So good Oh and the food?? The best I have eaten in forever - it’s all aurveydic - the flavours and spices, sooo amazing This place made me feel calm and relaxed - if I’d have known I would have booked longer

“An amazing experience”

Everything was natural, ecological, biological. A lot of antique. The environment was jungle, jungle sounds. Só amazing. The river was was running under our house. The staff was amazingly caring. A very special place. Oh yes and we got an Ayurvedic massage, which was also great.

The property was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable for my first time at a retreat centre of this kind. The river and the jungle surrounding the property were both very soothing. The room’s decoration was also very special and unique.

It's a jungle paradise and by far the most special place I have visited in Sri Lanka. I enjoyed wonderful yoga classes and very delicious meals. It's perfect for everyone who wants to escape from stress and busy days for a while 😊

“Ayurvedic resort surrounded by jungle”

Great place to unwind and disconnect from loud city and the heat. The center is practically in the jungle, reachable by tuktuk or taxi from Kandy and is beautifully decorated (the owner is in antiques business). Beautiful surroundings and great facilities. I took some ayurvedic treatments and they were great (there's also ayurvedic doctor). I can also recommend yoga classes in the morning in their yoga space overlooking the trees. I took full board and all the food was delicious. Very friendly staff - they helped with any special request and always provided very detailed explanations, there are also options to organize day trips. My room was huge and air conditioning was not needed since it did not get hot at all in the jungle. Planning to go back for a full ayurvedic detox program. Big plus - 3 friendly dogs and couple of cats :)
