Very nice view and people. We got welcomed with a nice drink on the rooftop. The room was clean and we slept very well. The location is great amazing sunsets.

We didnt fit the drinks and fruit in the pictures!! The hosts were so amazing, helpful and nice!! If you're thinking about staying in this place- definitely do it!!!!l

Well kept hotel on the edge of Kandy in the hills. Clean comfortable rooms, nice roofterrace.

The hotel is on a hill, about 15 minutes walk from the city center. The room was very comfortable, with a beautiful view over the city. The owner was super helpful and friendly, he helped us with recommendations to get the train to Ella from Ambewella since it was not working from Kandy. Also very responsive on WhatsApp before we got there. The breakfast was fantastic, one of the best we had during our trip! We had an amazing time and totally recommend if you are in Kandy!

“Wonderful experience”

The guesthouse was spotless, with a clean and comfortable environment. Our room (31) had its own private balcony where we could enjoy the view, have tea, and relax. The breakfast was very generous, and they even varied the dishes for us. The host couple helped us resolve many issues during our stay, especially assisting my wife in wearing a traditional sari. It was the best accommodation experience of our entire trip to Sri Lanka.

Everything was very clean. The roof top has a very nice view of the city. The breakfast was exceptional and had a great variety and was very budget friendly. Host is incredibly nice, he was very welcoming and took good care of us.

The location is not too far away from the busy Kandy but at the same time, you get away from the busy city because it is located uphill. The property is very new and well maintained. We really love the wooden flooring and staircase which give us the home feel. The Sri Lankan breakfast with a view is truly enjoyable.

“Highly Recommend”

We highly recommend staying at Sun Dove Suites, we stayed for 4 nights. It is located high on a hill overlooking Kandy's town, with the roof terrace giving excellent views. It takes 10 minutes to walk down to the town, but there are plenty of tuk tuks if you don’t like walking. The room and building was exceptionally clean. The stairs and floors are polished wood that gives a quality feel to the building. We stayed in room 12, which is one floor down from reception. The room had great wifi upload/download speed. The room is a nice size, with a large comfortable bed, and plenty of plugs. There is a kettle with a selection of flavoured teas, coffee and biscuits, which was a lovely touch. Water is supplied in bottles, which you can replenished whenever you wish. The shower room has a cubicle with good water pressure and stable hot water and decent sized towels. Breakfast is Sri Lankan, I do not eat spicy foods, but the hotel was very accommodating and I had lots of options. The quality and quantity of food was exceptional, with owner gave us details of what the dishes are called and how to eat them, which was thoughtful. The owner and staff are all very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Clean, spacious and very comfortable room and great bathroom, breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were very helpful. Also very well located, 15 minute walk to the city centre and temple of the tooth. Would definitely recommend for a short stay in Kandy.
