“Good place!”
It was nice stay, I really liked that there was a kitchen and also an option to do laundry. The hosts were helpful and friendly. It was also easy to get to the center by bus and supermarket was just 3 min walk away. I liked that there was an working table and chair in the room so it was possible to work comfortably in computer.

I had the chance to stay in a room with big windows for two nights. It was a good stay. Yamada was very welcoming and helpful. The price was lower than average hotels in Kandy.

“The view from the rooms is absolutely stunning. Mr. Yama is a perfect host—very professional, responsive, respectful, and attentive. He takes great care of his guests, and even one request is enough for him to respond immediately and solve any issue. The free laundry service, access to the kitchen, and complimentary tea are wonderful touches that make you feel right at home. We absolutely loved this place – it's one of the best youth hostels we've stayed in Sri Lanka! Super organized, spotless clean, with great facilities and really good prices. The owner is a polite Japanese guy (Yama, I think?) who clearly thinks of everything – we found little handwritten notes everywhere explaining how to use the washing machine (with times), tips for travelers on bus stops, nearby sights, and all the small details. We really appreciated that thoughtful touch! They have washing machines on site with a big drying area, plus a shared kitchen on every floor which was super convenient. One of the staff, Kumar, was amazing – so kind, friendly, and genuinely loves helping people. Chatting with him was a highlight of our stay. Overall, it felt welcoming, efficient, and great value – highly recommend for budget travelers who want comfort and cleanliness

“Good stay!!”
Everything! Very good location: the hostel is located not on the main road but a bit above, which makes it silent. The private room was very clean, spacious and bright. The wifi was working very well and I could do video calls. The owner was very kind! The kitchen had everything to be able to cook.

The host was amazing. The volunteering staff same amazing. The sri kankan host also amazing. The facilities the best I encountered in Sri Lanka so far. The most clean place I ever been in Sri Lanka . It was a pleasure to stay here. Btw also the most clean shared kitchen I saw ever.

I have been to Kandy many times, but this is the best place I have stayed. I had a room with an incredible view. It was clean. The hostel has a kitchen and a washing machine. As well as a hair dryer and even a hair curler. Convenient location and friendly staff. I recommend this place.
