A beautiful property in the hills away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy. Lovely host with good breakfasts on the patio overlooking the hillside. Room was very large with a comfortable bed.

Best shower we had in Sri Lanka, good pressure and heat. View from the terrace is great, and the beds are comfortable, super friendly host with a great breakfast! And Ollie is the best boy 🐶

Selyna and her dog are absolutely amazing! She upgraded our room because my partner is 2 metrs tall and we accidentaly booked smaller room, where he needs to watch his head 😃. Great breakfast! Would stay there again!

We had the best experience at Selyna Sky Terrace. Large room very clean and very comfortable matters. Breakfast on both mornings was exceptional. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Selyna, the host. She is the kindest and most helpful person I ever met in Sri Lanka and her dog Ollie was an absolute sweetheart.

A great home stay with an incredibly friendly and helpful host. The location is in the hills about a mile from the centre of Kandy which is great to escape the busy ness. The views are amazing. The host offered lots of ideas of things to see and do in Kandy. The room is slightly dated but nothing that would impact your stay.

We had a lovely one night stay! Selyna is very kind and the room is clean and comfortable. We also had a lovely breakfast on the terrace. The property is about 15 mins walk from central. It was nice to be out of the busy city but within easy reach of everything we needed.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Selyna Sky Terrace in Kandy and felt at home from the very first moment. Selyna is an incredibly warm, welcoming, and thoughtful host who truly goes above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable. She organised a TukTuk for us with a great driver and gave us very helpful recommendations for our time in Kandy. The room was beautiful, very clean, modern, and offered breathtaking views. Everything was thoughtfully designed and maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was phenomenal and one of the best we had during our trip. A special highlight was Ollie, Selyna’s adorable dog, who made our stay even more memorable. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back.

Selyna is the most caring host that we met. She is really sweat and full of recommandations based on your timing. The location is up to the hill far from the noise of the city (you can go down to the city by walk and come back with tuktuk) The breakfast on the terrace was lovely The bathroom is really clean with available products for washing

Selyna is an incredible host. The room was incredibly private with an exceptional view and very good air conditioning. We felt part of the family and loved meeting her dog, Ollie. Breakfast was fantastic.

I really enjoyed my stay with Selyna and her family. The view was amazing and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was so good. An added bonus was Ollie, the family dog. If I get to come back to Kandy, I will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Selyna Sky Terrace. Selyna was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of great advice. As dog lovers we also loved meeting Ollie!

“Stunning accommodation and warmest welcome!”

Selyna Sky Terrace is a stunning place! From the initial contact to leaving, the experience was so warm and wonderful! I arrived late on the first night after a delayed flight and Selyna’a husband welcomed me. I planned to stay 1 or 2 nights but ended up staying 3 nights as it was so nice and also fit with my 2 day knuckles trek really well. Selyna is so warm, kind and welcoming. She really goes over and above and looked after me (as a solo traveller) incredibly well. The accommodation is great: very clean and stylish Sri Lanka vibes. I stayed in the upstairs room which was spacious and had a nice en suite and everything you could need. No view from the window, but that’s fine as the terrace has an exceptional view! The most stunning place to enjoy breakfast while enjoying nature. The breakfasts are fantastic: all home made, varies each day and delicious. Selyna was a joy to talk with - a smart, interesting and very caring lady. She also helped me arrange a driver to the south and arranged dinner for me when I briefly lost my wallet. Her family is also very lovely and welcoming - and Ollie the dog is very sweet and likes a good head ruffle. The location is great if you want to be chilled with great view, but within reach of Kandy. While there’s not much in the immediate vicinity it’s easy to arrange tuk tuks into Kandy (Uber or Pickme apps or through Sylena). There also a cool restaurant/bar with delicious food and good view 12 mins walk - it’s called Marinate. There’s also bigger apartment downstairs which looks great for a couple. Highly recommended!

Selyna was the nicest host! So friendly and welcoming, just like her dog Ollie! The accomodation was nicely decorated with beautiful views. Only 20 min walk to the city centre. Wish we could have stayed longer!
