Staying at this bungalow was nothing short of magical. The architecture is absolutely breathtaking—designed in a way that feels both luxurious and deeply harmonious with the surrounding nature. Large open spaces, natural materials, and thoughtful design details allow the indoors and outdoors to blend seamlessly. You can feel the calming presence of the tropical landscape in every corner of the home. The staff - Kumar, Chanuka and Krishna - made the experience even more special. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, ensuring that our stay was comfortable from start to finish. The cooks were phenomenal—the meals were delicious, offering authentic Sri Lankan flavors alongside fresh, seasonal ingredients. Dining here truly felt like a celebration of both culture and hospitality. One highlight I highly recommend is joining a yoga session. Practicing yoga in such a tranquil setting, surrounded by greenery and the soothing sounds of nature, was restorative and unforgettable. It’s the perfect way to connect even more deeply with the serene atmosphere of the place. I cannot recommend this bungalow enough—it is a haven of beauty, relaxation, and soul-nourishing experiences.

“Perfect.”

The villa was absolutely beautiful, wonderfully designed, set in a remote location. It was a real treat staying here. Kandy is close enough to get to for a day trip. Some great hiking is also within easy reach. The staff were very welcoming, and flexible. They prepared a packed lunch for us at short notice which was great. Our breakfast and evening meals were prepared to order. Dinner was delicious on both nights - freshly prepared traditional food, and some non-traditional choices which the children enjoyed. Would love to come back and explore the mountains nearby.

Sati Villa is an amazing place, like a peace of heaven. Beautiful villa surrounded by nature, very quiet. We pass 2 nights at the villa with the kids and enjoyed each moment. The staff was perfect and they answer all our requests. The meals were taste, local specialities with twist to align with our needs. Bottom line if you are looking for an amazing and quiet place Sati Villa will be the best choice

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The staff is super nice and the food is excellent. It’s located få bit far from Kandy so a car is needed to explode the area. You have the full house for yourself.

Amazing stay. The place is absolutely gorgeous. A villa immersed in nature, with a little river passing under the dining room - loved the relaxing sound. The staff is very kind and prepares delicious food, ingredients are fresh and everything is made with care. Overall, I definitely recommend it, especially if you are a group of 6-8 people to have the whole villa by yourself

“Little paradise a few kilometers from Kandy”

We discovered a real pearl close to Kandy. If you like nature and looking for a quiet place outside the vibrancy of the city, this is where to stay! Food is amazing, rooms very comfortable. The villa staff are so kind, it was a amazing experience, thank you 🙏

I honestly don't know where to start. The place is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. A beautifully designed villa by the stream. Large, comfortable rooms. Beautiful bathrooms. Super clean. The chef who prepared our meals cooked so deliciously that even when we weren't hungry, we ate everything. Every need, question, or problem we had was addressed immediately. We had massages on-site, and they were the best massages we've ever had in our lives! And we are people who regularly get massages. We also booked a yoga lesson, and it was a great experience. On the day of our departure, the staff washed our car even though we didn't ask for it. We are full of admiration and recommend it to everyone!!!!

“Once in a lifetime experience in Sati Villa”

The villa is magnificently located over a crystal water stream! The three rooms are perfectly furnished, clean and so spacious! The staff is very skilled and kind! We had wonderful meals and amazing service! Very highly recommended!

“Amazing villa, would be looking to stay again but for longer!”

Modern, beautifully set villa. Brilliantly finished, comfortable with a jacuzzi big enough for all. Make sure you ask ahead to heat the jacuzzi as it takes around 7 hours to warm up. Staff were brilliant and the food was lovely.

The location is amazing. It is directly on a small mountain river. The sons of water is very relaxing. The staff can cook very well. The hoppers were very good.

“Serene”

Our travel group included 5 month old baby to 70 year old adult. Since the villa is constructed over natural stream ( which acted as a susher for my baby) an amazing sleep is well guaranteed. It is surrounded by utter peace and tranquility.The staff especially caretaker Mr. Priyantha took care of all our need. He is a gem of a person. His smile is infectious and cooks such delicious meals.The plunge pool with heating feature is a plus for this place and we had a great time. Villa also has water dispenser, which all breastfeeding mothers would appreciate as it helped me keep myself hydrated. Loved this plac and we had a wonderful time. Only regret, we should have booked this place for atleast one week rather than 3 days. Will definitely return again and will recommend it to friends and families back in India.

Feeling like you are living in a dream

Amazing place and fantastic staff who made every effort to make our stay enjoyable and Priyantha made our stay unforgettable! The food was delicious, the rooms were big spacious and really comfortable. My children loved the river to play in and would happily just play among the rocks. The plunge pool is there which is an extra bonus. The place speaks for itself and we would love to return. Priyantha is the gem making this place so special, he was very kind to our multi generational family and we thank him for making so much effort to make our stay relaxing!
