The property is in a quiet neighborhood away from Kandy’s bustle and chaos. The staff incredibly nice and friendly and made us feel super comfortable and valued during our stay.

“Peaceful”
The room is fabulous and the common areas are beautifully laid out. Peaceful night sleep . Breakfast was lovely - simple soft drinks were not available when we stayed. The pool in the main picture isn’t of the Rivora residence it’s across the road and is barely accessible because of hours of opening.

“A peaceful escape with breathtaking views and exceptional hospitality”
I booked the entire Rivora Residence for a group, and honestly, it was the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and always smiling, which made us feel truly welcome from the first moment. The cleanliness was outstanding — everything was spotless, the bed linen was fresh and pleasantly scented, and unlike many other accommodations in Sri Lanka, there was absolutely no damp or moldy smell at all. The rooms were very spacious, with a large and comfortable living area. One of the highlights of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere and the stunning view. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the silence was truly relaxing — perfect for unwinding and enjoying the moment. Waking up to this view in the morning was unforgettable. Breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared, making our mornings even better. Our only regret is that we stayed for just two nights. We would happily return anytime and stay longer without hesitation.
