“A Special place”

This is the nicest place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The house is beautiful. Sheema was our host and an excellent cook. She even gave me a cooking lesson, in her kitchen. When we left, she gave us a packed lunch for our journey. She made the whole visit very special.

“Perfect in every way”

We stayed for two nights and from our arrival to our final goodbye we were treated just like family. Sheema and her daughter are your hosts and what wonderful hosts they are. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Sheema cooked dinner for us on the second night and her food is the best, actually it was the best we had in our travels in Sri Lanka. The Villa is spotless, peaceful and beautiful gardens surrounding the property. We even had a dip in their pool. I wish our stay was longer. The Villa is named after their adorable son Niketh whom we had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, it really did make our trip to you’re wonderful country.

Amazing villa! It was a really beautiful and peaceful place—very quiet, spotless, and surrounded by plants and greenery. The breakfast was very delicious, and the host was incredibly kind and welcoming.

Stunning designed building and garden in tranquil setting. Beautiful interior design. Sheema is a warm and welcoming host, and chef extraordinaire. Our dinners and breakfasts were incredible. Rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds, lovely window seats and enormous en-suites. The swimming pool is a lovely refreshing stop after a day out.

Our stay at Villa Niketh Kandy was just perfect! The owners are not only very kind people but also gave us a lot of recommendations and helped us with every question we had. The Villa is very clean, comfortable and furnished with great taste! We are very looking forward to visit their second place at the east coast! I can only recommend this place!

A beautiful house with a very stylish interior and a super comfy bed. Its location just outside busy central Kandy made for a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful and Sheema’s cooking was delicious! It was lovely to hear all about her family too. Highly recommend.

“A really comfortable stay in an amazing place with great food”

The property is located a little drive out of Kandy. We very much liked this as it is very quiet and peaceful. On top of that, the great interior designs and garden give an amazing vibe to the place. Shima cooks for you and loves to cook amazing local dishes!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa, which is decorated with so much taste. The warm welcome from Sheema and her daughter Shahi made our experience even better – they are both very friendly and gave great recommendations. We had dinner on-site, and Sheema cooks the best Sri Lankan dishes! The room was extremely comfortable, very clean, and the bathroom was spacious. We absolutely loved our stay and felt right at home! Thank you for everything.

Very stylish example of modern tropical Sri Lankan architecture. Great art collection. Outstanding hospitality from Sheema and her helpers. Georgeous landscaped gardens to relax in out by the pool. Very high hygiene standards throughout. Dine-in and be spoilt by Sheema with her spread of excellent local dishes. We loved the chicken curry and sweet & spicey pineapple curry 🍍

The room we stayed in was beautiful, in a well designed house with lovely hosts. The perfect location away from the busy centre of Kandy. Breakfast by Sheema was one of the best we had on our trip! Would recommend to anyone :)

Villa Niketh is absolutely beautiful, our room was large, airy and extremely comfortable. We could not have been made to feel more welcome. Sheema our host is a superb cook and we had beautiful, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine both in the mornings and in the evening. It is a stunning home stay property.

Absolutely beautiful interiors and incredible garden which was so sweet to swim in first thing in the morning! They are the loveliest, warmest family and so so helpful! Make sure you eat the delicious food there..I would absolutely love to go back!
