Very kind human team and very nice welcoming with a home-made iced tea. They gave us some informative leaflets and explained interest points with a city map. Nice room, great space and very comfortable. We asked for an early check out and the possibility for a packed breakfast to take away, the chef came in at 4am before departure to make it fresh for us, sandwich, fresh fruits, chocolate muffins and mineral water, this is really kind from the hotel human team.

“Amazing breakfast! Lovely staff”
The most phenomenal breakfast we have ever had. So much food, it was incredible! Staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The family room was a great size for the 5 of us.

“Great Central Location”
The staff were super friendly and helpful. We were the only guests and were offered the breakfast at $US10 each. We took up the offer, and it was way too much for us. We are started off with a large tray of fresh fruits, French toast with local honey, tea, coffee, local curry and numerous cakes. We were offered eggs but declined as we could not eat any more food. The hotel also offered a fast laundry service for 3,000 LKR for 3kg which was well worth it.

“Excellent 2 night stay - Highly recommended.”
We really liked this hotel for our 2 night stay in Kandy. It’s just off a very busy road, but you’d never know it, as it’s lovely and quiet in the hotel. Pristine condition of all areas we were in. Very clean , modern bedroom with terrific bathroom/ shower. Lots of hot water and great WiFi!. Breakfast was included and one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. Very fresh food presented and all really enjoyable. Seriously good quality food prepared beautifully. All the team we met were great, very friendly and helpful. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful on where to go etc. Great location to everything. The hotel kindly organised a car to take us the winding road to Ella. We both really enjoyed our stay here - can’t recommend it enough.

Convenient location. The breakfast was the best we had on the whole of our trip. The owners were delightful with lots of information and best places to go. it was very clean and tidy with good facilities.

My City Hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Kandy. Getting conveyance or access to restaurants is good. The rooms are spacious, furnished and well maintained. The host was very helpful. Nice stay. Strongly recommend.
