Wonderful stay at Medhani, the owners were so nice and friendly, super helpful as well! I felt very welcome and the view from the room is also amazing, the mattress was also very comfortable and the bathroom complex new and modern. The room is big and comes with a beautiful city view from the balcony and a fridge. The breakfast was amazing and different every day. The owners are very nice and take care of their guests. I lost my credit card during my stay, and they gave me cash to take the tuk-tuk and bus when I left. Thank you so much for your generosity.

“Great property, even better hosts!”

Great property in a great location. Balcony looks over Kandy with the lake and mountains in the background- a short walk into the town or a cheap tuk tuk. Even had monkeys come visit! The room was comfortable and had great shower pressure. The host and his wife were the highlight- both very friendly and welcoming. Would 100% recommend staying here!

Small pension run by family. Nice host, peaceful place. Seems recently built or renovated. Good filing breakfast.

“Basic guest house with good views.”

This guest house has no signage or room numbers, so quite difficult to find. The owner was friendly and the room clean but the place was very basic and felt incomplete. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was nice with a good view. No Air con but the fan worked well. No tea or coffee making facilities, but owner brought us mango juice on arrival. WiFi was good, plus there is a fridge. Breakfast included heaps of toast with a fried egg and sausage, butter and jam. Lots of fruit - which was nice. The shower was OK but the toilet wobbled a bit and the tap was loose on the sink. We felt that compared to other places, this accommodation was quite expensive for what was actually provided.

Great views, quiet area, friendly staff and room was neat, tidy and great for the price.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and given a welcome Mango juice drink by the lady of the house. The room was bright and clean and was a refreshing change to some other places we have stayed recently. The view from the balcony was awesome. Wifi was available in the room from our own plug in modem booster, brilliant. A very welcome innovation.

We spend two nights here and had such a great time! Lovely owners and nice breakfast in the morning. The location is 10/10 you have a great view over candy but also reach the city center in less than 5 minutes by tuktuk
