It was nice stay, with walkable distance from Kandy lake and Tooth Relic temple. Staff was nice, everything was being taken care of properly. They even give discounted tickets for traditional cultural program. One thing I want to say, I had bad experience with one of female in the dorm, she can't sleep with fan on and it was too hot. When I told this to Hostel owner they changed my room for the night and sort the issue immediately.

The hostel is clean, cozy, and in a quiet area, but still within walking distance of the city. The best part, though, is the staff and the owner. They’re genuinely lovely people. I wish I could’ve stayed longer and would definitely go back. Highly recommend!

Nice calm place. Very helpful hosts. Very clean and peaceful. Well kept garden around and you see monkeys playing around too some days. If you don’t mind walking, Walk down the main road to the lake and then walk around the lake to get to the temple and city centre. A 30 min walk to the city centre. Tuk Tuk will take you 10 min. But the walk is really nice as you can walk along the lake getting nice views.

The property is relatively easy to find with a sign outside saying Lazy bear inn. The owner wasn’t there but the house cleaner came and checked us in however was a bit hard to get in contact with for check in. The room was clean and the beds were nice. It is close to town but you may struggle to walk down the busy roads, we did it twice and is only 10-15 minutes to town and temple of the tooth so definitely possible, otherwise Tuktuks are relatively easy to get but cannot drive all the way to the temple due to a no drive barricade so will have to walk 5 minutes. The actual property has hot water shower and simple bathroom facilities, small ant infestation but nothing that can’t be handled.

Lovely spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Not too far to get to all the must see sights and very easy to grab a tuktuk to anywhere else. Room was clean and comfortable, excellent value for money and the owner was very kind and helpful in giving recommendations! Highly recommend.

It is located about 10 minutes walk from the temple of the tooth. The lady in the hospital was very nice and thanks to google translate and her entusiasme we had some nice conversations. Clean, airy, quiet and a lovely garden..recommendable!!

Lovely place to stay in Kandy. Kind host who has many local recommendations and makes the space feel like a home. Walking distance down to the lake to see the temple and other attractions. Bakeries and small shops at the bottom of road. Lovely garden to sit and watch the monkeys and fireflies.

Absolutely a great place to stay. The owners are friendly, the environment is cool, clean, neat and peaceful. They offered flexible check in time. The prices are reasonable and overall worthy place to stay if you visit Kandy.

Easy to walk into the city in the morning. I quite enjoyed my routine of waking up and walking around the lake. The couple that run the hostel are so so very kind and keep a very warm loving environment. They were also really helpful at making recommendations. Great stay - Thankyou!

The hostel was very sociable and comfortable and the owner was honestly the nicest man I’ve ever met, so friendly and cheerful. I would definitely stay again and encourage everyone to if they are heading to Kandy. The walk into the main town was also less than 10 minutes and along the lake where you pass the temple.

Host is very helpful and funny and kind. They offered us tea and milk rice at our arrival - because we were the first guests that year - and provided so much useful information and even discounted tickets for the Kandy Dance show. The location is excellent.
