The hotel is a beauiful old Colonial property. I probably had the smallest room in the hotel, but it wasnt expensive, & I was on my own. The manager and staff tried very hard to ensure I had everything I wanted. They were very friendly and helpful. No pool, but there are balconies/terraces where you can relax. Walk to the middle of town is along the length of the lake which takes around 25mins.

Maxi and his assistants were excellent. They were always available when anyone needed them. The food was delicious, particularly the breakfast. The view of the Kandy town from the garden was very good.

Pleasant and clean rooms, delicious breakfast on the terrace. Helpful staff, upon arrival they provided us with a delicious late lunch delivered from a nearby restaurant, excellent tips for activities, arranging tickets for a dance performance and arranging a tuk tuk driver who was our guide for 2 days.

“A very nice small hotel”

Beautiful room, very comfortable bed and pillows, the whole house is just so pretty and lovely, and the staff is the kindest! A bit up the hill but you can use a tuktuk to go to the city.

The property is an old colonial bungalow perched on a hill which overlooks Kandy. Maxi, the manager is always around to answer any questions about Kandy and to offer suggestions for what to do.

Beautifully situated above the city with amazing vistas, a gentle breeze and lovely rooms. We were afforded the most wonderful service from Maxi and Rash who attended our every request with a smile and great warmth. The breakfasts on the terrace in the cool of the morning were a delight and our evening meal was the best we’d had Thank you for everything Kingsman you made our stay in Kandy wonderful 🙏

Our stay at Kingsman House was very pleasant and comfortable. The place was clean, cozy, and well maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The views were great, adding to the overall experience. A lovely place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very nice property with plenty of space to lounge at. Room was clean and spacious. We were there on NYE and the staff kindly helped us with the firecrackers we bought to celebrate the new year! Staff were very attentive and ensured we enjoyed our stay.

A great place to stay just outside of Kandy town. Very clean, modern and tastefully decorated. The manager Maxi was very kind and helpful.
